Makeup Tutorial | Warm Smokey Spotlight Eye Makeup | Full Glam Makeup

I can't breathe I can't speak my knees get weak I can't oh no so to get started I've already applied my serum and my moisturizer and this will just create a nice even base to work on and I've also applied a lip balm and you can actually apply this on any dry patches on your skin so if you have any dry areas just pop this on makes a great base and then for primer of course I'm going to use my Flor bar primer cuz I love it it's the best primer ever so just apply that over your skin and it will just create an even base and help your makeup last longer and to start off I'm going to use the Eraser eye by Maybelline this was an old favorite of mine that I've just recently started loving again it's great for counteracting any discoloration underneath your eyes and for brightening so I apply this underneath my Foundation as sort of like a corrector for foundation I'm going to be using this one because it's great for drier skin type but I would recommend actually using an f202 instead of an F20 so I actually went in with a sponge because the F20 wasn't blending as much as I'd want to because it's quite a thick Foundation but this Foundation is amazing for full coverage without feeling heavy so I really like it to set it in place I'm going to use a translucent powder but before that I'm going to use my magic powder the L'Oreal true match foundation cuz I love it so much but because we don't need too much coverage I'm going to use a large brush so just apply a very small amount to start with and just brush it all over the skin and then you can build up on areas where need more coverage if you need to but this creates an airbrush finish love it taking that damp sponge we used earlier and a brightening powder I'm just going to apply this along the jawline this is right underneath the hollow of your cheekbones and this will lift them slightly for you and I'm also applying this underneath the eyes to catch any Fallout now if you have drier skin types you might want to do your eyes first instead of using this technique but this is great for creating a sharp finish for your eye makeup and catching Fallout too now before we do that I'm going to do my eyebrows and it's been a while since I I've shown you how I do my brows so I start off with a pencil and I just go around the edges I also like to emphasize my freckle on the side because the foundation covers it but mostly I just use the pencil to outline my brow and then I go in with a powder so I use the two darker Shades from this palette starting on the arch of my brow and working outwards and then just use whatever's left over to etch out the lower part of my brows and then the two lighter Shades and apply this on the inside just to add a little bit of definition to the inner part of the brows and that's how I do my brows now for the eyes I'm going to start off with of course my favorite primer best primer ever and it's from the drugstore and then just set that in place with a bit of powder I'm going to use a warm palette today I'm going to start with Lily which is a matte light shade and you want to apply this on the center of the lid don't worry about it being precise just pop in the center of your lid it's just there as a guide then you're going to take the warmest eyes shadow that you own on a medium to large blending brush and start in the outer corner of the eye sweep into the crease and then go to the inner corner so it's going to be very blown out smokey eye and very warm works on all eye colors then take two darker Shades I'm using a black and a warm brown mixed together on a pencil brush you want to start on the outer edge of the eye then sweep into the crease and go to the inner corner of your eye but don't blend it up past that warm eyes shadow that we've already applied keep it within that Circle then switching from a slightly lighter warm ey Shadow so very similar to the last one just a shade or two lighter you're going to blend this around the edges now my blending technique isn't great because I hurt my fingers I was feeding an injured bird and I hurt my fingers anyway for underneath the Brows you want to highlight using a flat brush so just work around the edge of the brows and this will Define a brow bone a little bit more while sharpening and finishing off this eye makeup look for us but you also then want to use a clean blending brush this is clean it looks dirty but it's clean and just blend around the edges so it's not too harsh and then to finish I'm going to use a damp brush and apply the only shimmering eyes shadow in this palette just on the center of the lid so it's quite a dram Matic Spotlight eye next you want to apply liquid liner and I would recommend using liquid liner for this look you don't have to do a wing but I would definitely add one in use the powder on the edge of the eye to create a border and then just follow that just makes it so much easier and then I also applied a black on the upper and lower water line as well now before I finish off my eyes I want to brush off this powder but before I do that I want to Contour so grab your contouring brush and your Contour powder and just work this above that baking powder we've applied and this will emphasize and lift your cheekbones just so much more and you can also use this around your hairline as well just add a bit more balance and then dust off the powder and you're ready to go so underneath the eyes you're going to take the two shades that we used in the crease you want to use a pencil brush or a small brush and just sweep this underneath the lashes from the outer Corner working to the inner corner and you can bring it down quite low I wish I brought it down lower to be honest so you can bring it down quite low for that blown out look and then use the two darker Shades onto a a smaller brush so like a flat brush and apply this right underneath your eyelashes so you want that grading effect from the dark black and the really warm blown out eyeshadow then I'm going to take upper and lower eyelashes because why not add a little bit more drama to this look I'd recommend using lashes that are balanced all the way across don't use flared out ones because it takes away from the spotlight look and then just apply lower lashes underneath moving back onto the face I'm just going to do a few extra steps going to finish off with a highlighter I'm applying this in the inner corner of the eye and basically all over my face I'm using my fingertips to press it on the inner corner of the eye but you can use a pencil brush if you have one clean and then I'm using a powder brush to apply this on the tops of the cheekbones and basically all over my face just anywhere I want to and then for blush I'm using one of my old favorites but I am mixing in a little bit of that crease shade and this is a great way to add a Polish finish to your look and all of these combine work really well together and then for my lips I used once again my old favorite lip liner li
