Easy Smokey Eye For Beginners | One Brush Application

for today's Monday makeup lesson I'm going to show you how to create a really easy smoky eye with just one brush I've already prepped the eyelids with concealer primer and powder and the brush that I've chosen for us is the e-40 one I also use this in my everyday eye makeup look this is a medium to small tapered brush that works on lots of different eye shapes and it's synthetic to start with apply your highlighter shade I'm going to be highlighting around the brows so take the brush in the palm of your hand and use your index finger to fan out the bristles this create the perfect shape for highlighting underneath your brows and on any areas that you'd like to highlight you need to highlight first because next we're going to move on to black picking up quite a lot of black eyeshadow I then want you guys to spritz your brush with a little bit of water or a setting spray using that same fanned out technique apply this to the lash line and then slowly work your way up covering about one third of the lid holding the brush a little further down on the handle I want you guys to lay it across the lid and sweep it over and back making sure the tapered tip is pointed towards the brows this will help fade the black from the lash line all the way up to the crease and you want to take your bronzer or a mid-tone and apply this into the crease holding the brush in the same position on the handle you want to sweep this from the outer corner to the inner corner right in the socket keep blending this over and back until you get a soft finish you want to make sure that the mid-tone and the black fade towards each other it takes a little bit of work but keep blending and keep adjusting the pressure that you're putting on the brush for underneath the eyes you want to fan out the brush again and taking a mixture of the black and the mid-tone sweep this underneath your lash line and I slightly joined it up on the outer corner finish with your favorite mascara and falsies and there you go super easy smokey eye if you liked this video don't forget to give it a thumbs up hit the subscribe button and check out the videos on the screen that you might have missed
