Zooey Deschanel Makeup Tutorial | Iconic Celebrity Look Revealed

Welcome to the makeup chair today I'm doing Zoe DML inspired look I hope that you like it I'm going to take these off now cuz they're weird so I'm doing this look because she is supposed to be one of the new style icons for summer and this is in You magazine so I decided to do this look and my hair is not real I didn't cut my Fringe this is just a I'm going to take it off and show you this is just a fake Fringe from um boots I bought this in Boots for 11e but I actually kind prefer it with my hair right now so I hope that you enjoy this look it's super easy and just keep watching so we're going to start off with the eyes because I always like to start off with the eyes I'm want to take this peachy shimmery shade by blank K cosmetics and wash this all over the lid you can also place a little bit extra in the inner corner of the eye to brighten it up too next Shadow I'm going to use is the medium brown and this is going to work as our midtone start by placing the brush in the outer corner of the eye and then work your way in and above the crease this is just the same way that I always do my eye looks and what this does is bring out the lid you want to use a blending brush and make sure that there's no harsh lines and really blend this on both sides now we're going to move on to eyeliner I'm going to use this lick liner and place a very thin line right at the roots of the lashes slowly build this up to a slightly thicker line making sure that the thickness of the line is right across the top of the pupil to create that dye look and then you can slightly taper this outwards but not into a cat eye just slightly tapered and then you can create that nice doy rounded look next I'm going to set that with a black shadow onto a flat brush and I'm going to press this over the top making sure that the liquid is going to stay but also fixing any mistakes and making the line nice and smooth now I'm going to move on to two eyeliners I'm going to use the first eyeliner which is a black eyeliner on the upper waterline and then later on I'm going to use the pink one on the lower waterline but before I do that I'm going to take the Maybelline 1ex One mascara and this is in waterproof and I'm going to apply a few hundred coats all over my eyelashes add a few coats to the bottom lashes to give it that dyed open look Foundation I'm going to use my healthy mix by bis in number 51 and my Bas Cosmetics foundation brush starting in the center of my face I'm working outwards and I want to create that soft kind of Barely There natural Foundation look I don't want it to be too heavy so I'm going to make sure that I really blend this the concealer that I'm using is by bis and it is the healthy mix one and I'm just going to use the other side of the foundation brush to work this in I'm going to use it around my eyes and it's also perfect on my blemishes too remember the other eyeliner that I mentioned well now we're going to apply this on the lower water line this going to really create that dyed brigh eyed look Zoe tends to have her lipstick matching her blush so the blush that I'm using is pink Cloud by natural collection and then I'm going to use this lipstick by Rimmel which is actually called pink blush so those two work quite well together taking my blush brush I'm going to apply quite a lot of blush onto my cheeks because Zoe tends to wear a lot of blush make sure that you blend it upwards towards the ear then I'm going to apply a little bit of the pink lipstick over my lips and then just use my ring finger to blot it out so it's not too heavy my little dog Pebbles decided to come and say and so did my other doggy Sandy she's such a cutie pie I love her so much so that's the finished look I'm going to take these off now that's the finished look I've added my hairpiece and my glasses I hope that you enjoyed this if you do have any more requests then you can just either email them to me at um Shady atgmailcom or you can post them on my Facebook page just add me of a friend or you can like my fan page which kind of no I don't really like calling it a fan page but my other page which is the makeup chair um Facebook page as well and all the links is that going to be in the down bar so I'll will talk to you soon bye-bye
