Wtf! 150 Foundation?! Tom Ford Foundation Review

excited because today I'm gonna be doing a review and not just any type of review ladies and gentlemen no because your girl did some browsing and probably a lot of people have done a review on this already I'm probably really late to the news but guess what we're in quarantine and I make up my own timing okay my I got caught on the new I don't even know if it's new it's probably not new Tom Ford shade and illuminate soft radiance foundation it has an SPF of 50 and guess what it retails for a hundred and fifty dollars one hundred and fifty dollars for a foundation and I was like I know Tom Ford is bougie but I didn't know twere that bougie so I looked around and there other foundations also very pricy but nothing near the 150 dollars mark then I was like hold up wait a minute okay it's me Nikki hi I really wanna try this so I ordered three now ordered three because I wanted to make sure that I have my great color so I ordered three colors and today I want to put it to you the test and I gotta take you through my day and show you how it wears and then at the end of the day I will give you my final review so if you're ready for a full-on foundation review testing day keep on watching dddd makeup okay my glow babies I'm so excited for this review because I literally don't know a thing about this foundation I don't know if it's sheer coverage full coverage anything in-between so this is what the packaging looks like I think the pet it if only you could feel this right now this is so heavy this has a lot of way to it I feel like the packaging is B beautiful it is classic Tom Ford but is with that extra kick of luxury because this just looks got you just want to put it on your vanity and look at it all day right so it comes with a pump so you can pump out the good day I always feel like when really bougie brands come up with the foundation they're like there you go sheer for everybody the Tom Ford shade and illuminates soft radiance foundation with an SPF breathable protection do we need to know more details Oh shake well oh it's liquidy oh I can actually hear it now I got three colors because it's unnecessary and I am unnecessary before we get to work let's see what color I have to use so the colors I have point-three ivory silk one-point-one warmed sand and we have 1.3 nude ivory tlook identical hmm oh shoot liquidy so we got 1.1 C that's pretty good a little too yellow maybe pi/3 ivory silk well that's better it's a little bit yellow but I can work with that okay I'm gonna be using ivory silk this is also the lightest color in the collection I absolutely of course want to give this foundation a fair shot so I'm gonna prime because i prime every time I wear makeup if I wouldn't prime during this review video I wouldn't actually give the foundation a fair shot because how unfair would it be if I primed every single day and loved to foundation and then now I'm trying to new one out and it doesn't even get a chance because I'm not priming so the primer I'm using today is this this is by Dermalogica it is called the skin perfect primer my mom sells it's in her webshop I'm so proud of her and just apply it to the areas that you won't have right I'm of course he's my favorite Beauty sponge to apply it by Juno and call it is very liquidy like it runs on the hand very fast so let's see dipping it in that is not [ __ ] up okay okay okay okay okay what I'm seeing is that it has this beautiful glow to it do you see that reflection that is just bouncing everywhere that is stunning I think the formula is very thin it's a very thin consistency hence why it's not really covering a lot this is like supermodel skin do you see that glow it looks like I went on a little vacation it looks like quarantine and the rhone that never happened it's like I'm happy about life you know someone didn't try and blackmail me and try to force me to come out early this year so I am using stamping motions to get it on it's just very thin it has a little bit of a scent to it tadded a little bit of I feel like it's something with like roses or like gardenias like I said in every single video that is about bujji products talways come in with the Rose scent it's like oh you mom Bujji here's the rose this right here is what it looks like after one layer of application and what I'm seeing is a lot of do a lot of light bouncing off the face you know who also really comes to mind in my head right now desi Perkins this is like that typical beautiful stunning glowy desi Perkins finish and somehow you're like what you're not wearing anything but you're wearing a beautiful coverage foundation so I'm not mad at it because people are gonna be like well you're a full coverage junkie you're not gonna like this I like this so far because it's a beautiful base to work with do I feel like I need a bit more of a covering concealer to fulfill the dream absolutely but the first layer I'm seeing beautiful dewy skin if you have an oily skin type of honey stay away from this steer clear from this foundation I want to apply a teensy tiny bit more to see if it is a buildable coverage and I'm just add it all over to see how much it builds if it kind of breaks apart what we already applied if it kind of melts well with each other let's see what it does know what this reminds me of if you have the charlotte tilbury hollywood flawless filter and you know how it's like a hybrid of a sounds like a very sheer foundation with a crazy illuminating highlighter it's this but on steroids so this is what it looks like after building a second layer it is slipping and sliding a little bit in my fine lines and yes I do have fine lines so the concealer I'm really really liking is my hourglass and I always make a mixture of two colors I have the color cotton and birch I think if I'm using this more in the future I feel like I need a more gripping primer something that's like a lot more matte to really grip on to it because right now it just feels like it's kind of going everywhere there so there's not like a lot of control okay so it's blending together very nicely but like I said it's very slippery so that already tells me that thi
