Wednesday Addams “Soft Goth” Makeup | Soft Gothic Look Tutorial
hi uh I'm going to be doing the Wednesday Adams soft goth makeup look that a bunch of people wanted to see I did a Jenna Ortega inspired kind of like goth grunge a little bit undone a little bit like Smoky makeup looking people loved it and a lot of you said you wanted to see the actual like Wednesday Adams look that she is wearing in the show so that's what we're gonna do today I already have my base on basically my base that I always do just minus bronzer I did shaping with Contour no blush so far concealer Foundation that stuff uh do whatever you want to do I have no shortage of based videos on this channel like honestly I have so many and also nothing's really changed except I did film a completely different Contour video today but that will be up soon so whatever you want to do I just figured like we're going goth I'm not gonna bronze you know just structure that's it uh I'm going to start off with my elf what is this called elf eye primer this is in the shade sheer I don't know what the exact name is but it's nice because it has a little bit of a tint but it is sheer and I feel like for her look in particular we don't need anything full coverage plus it's just a really good eyeshadow primer now I'm just going to use a tiny bit of a translucent setting powder I'm going to be using my house Labs uh do thave different colors I think tdo this is um the bio blurring loose setting powder and I'm just going to dust that across my eyelids if you have very dry eyelids this might not be necessary but if you have extremely oily eyelids or if you went in with like too much of a heavy moisturizer beforehand or eye cream and you have a trouble blending even with like putting your primer down you can go in with the translucent powder over your primer it just helps with the blending it's not gonna like it's not like a rule that you can't do that okay today I'm going to be using the stone cold Fox palette from colourpop this is one of my favorite palettes and luckily it's available at Ulta sometimes with colourpop palettes or just products in general tlaunch and then they're gone this has been around I think it's a staple and it's just like such a good palette it has everything it has every Shimmer every like cool toned mat that you would need it's just great so I actually looked up what products were used uh I know for a fact the lip product but the other products weren't really like talked about as much I feel like there was some skincare maybe talked about but as far as like eyeshadow products tjust didn't make it clear and it's also kind of difficult because like her coloring is obviously very different to mine she has dark hair but what I see a lot of is like black a little bit of gray maybe some like cool toned taupe so that's what I'm gonna go with today I'm going to start off with my favorite taupe in the palette this guy right here which is called you rock and I'm using this uh like kind of angled brush from BK Beauty this is the 205 brush so I'm going to start looking down into a mirror and I'm going to kind of like press this around my eyeball create some definition and then I'm just going to take whatever's left over onto the outer part of the lid same thing with the inner part just kind of blending and I'm going to use that same brush to just soften the edge of that line that we put down meeting the law lash line buffing slightly around that edge onto the lid once again connecting to the inner part of the crease whatever's left over basically just softening and then taking that same brush and blending around the edge okay now I'm going to go in with the master precise skinny gel pencil this is from uh not colourpop Maybelline this guy this little pink guy focus on the guy this guy look the bottom of my nails are red isn't that dope so I'm gonna have a little smudger brush uh handy this is the elf Precision brush I just want something to kind of blend that liner out with so I'm going to use this to line the upper lash line and I'm basically just going to place it right at the lashes base of the lashes and then as I get to the inner part I'm just taking it in a little bit tighter and uh less heavy I'm gonna go in with my little elf Precision brush and I'm just going to Pat over that so that I'm blending it out now on the outer corner you have the option to kind of like take it like like tiny tiny Wing you could just kind of follow like the outer part of your eye it really looks like she has like the tiniest amount of something just to kind of like extend that lash line a little bit I just want to make sure that I'm keeping it soft so it's almost undetectable it looks like a little bit of an extension of the outer Corner slash lash line if you don't want to blend this out too much just make sure that you're padding downward so I'm kind of patting like down and then out towards where I'm going next so that I'm not like making that line way too thick if you have eyelids that are like perfectly visible when your eyes are wide open then maybe you don't want you don't need to worry about this as much if you have slightly hooded Lids like me I'm not trying to make my eyelids look like completely gone I'm just going to take a clean smudgy brush this is the what is this Sigma E30 and I'm just going to blend along the top of that just to soften it a little bit more so I just I don't want it to be too heavy and I'm angling my brush down again so that I'm not bringing it up too high so that makes it look a little bit more Blended and a little bit more like undone not so black you know Now using the rougher 14 brush I'm going to pick up Rumor Mill which is this cool toned gray color from the palette and I'm just going to blend this in the crease onto the outer part of the lid and onto that liner but I'm focusing on the outer part of the lid outer part of the eye I guess and then once I have that down I'm just going to take whatever's left over into the inner corner and just like all over the lid so focusing all of my like attention to the outer part you can use gray you could use black you could use Brown it really is going to depend on your skin tone how dark you want it to be and like what you're going for I guess if you have darker coloring darker like eyebrows eye color hair color then going in with a black and just really blending it out could end up looking like soft on you but for me it would be just like kind of a lot the one thing that I want to make sure that I'm maintaining is that nice like definition around the eye socket because it just kind of helps to make the eyes look a little bit larger and defined all right now I'm going to go in with a little bit of where did it go this no this one I don't know how the how I'm supposed to say that bold type like what is that I don't know what that is I'm gonna take a little bit of that it's a slightly darker taupe but it's got a little bit more warmth than that cool gray and I'm gonna go just kind of o
