Valentine’s Day Makeup Tutorial | Natural Soft Glam | Nails Tan Outfit Skincare | Giveaway
so I thought that I would start off this tutorial talking about my nails so I just use nailing Nails you can pick them up in Boots and they're really simple to apply just glue them into place and tlast for about 7 to 10 days usually I don't paint them but today I'm going to be using the Wet n Wild condensed milk this is the perfect nude shade and two coats of that and I'm good to go I also thought I'd show you my self-tanning routine so this is by Vita liberata it's a tinted self-tanning lotion so it gives instant color but it also develops but before we can do that we have to prep the skin so if I'm not wearing a fake tan I'll usually use a coffee scrub because this stimulates the skin and gives it like a healthy glow in itself but if I am going to use self tanner then I use a sugar scrub instead and this exfoliates the skin and preps it for fake tan I wish you guys could smell how good this smells it is so yummy smell a vision needs to happen so you just want to take a handful of the scrub and I usually turn the water off in the shower and do this on damp skin and then just scrub it all over your skin it'll break down any dryness on the skin and give you a perfect base it's quite moisturizing even though it's a scrub so rinse that off and Pat the skin dry and don't apply any moisturizers because you don't need it with this self tanner and it gives instant color so you know exactly where it's going and this is one of the only Tans I actually use on my face as well it Le leaves the Skin So Soft like it's unbelievably soft and smooth and that is my base work done moving on to skincare I'm going to use this Serum by The Body Shop my skin is really dry but this has been boosting it giving it a lot more life my lips are feeling a lot better and also my moisturizer has been going on a lot smoother as well so this is the hydrate cream it's also available I believe in a lotion and a serum but this is really handy because you push down and it disperses just the right amount of moisturizer for your skin and if you have long nails you don't have to be digging into the pot and getting it all up in your nails and because we're applying makeup I'm also going to apply my primer so I'm using my Flor mar1 of course the more prep you put into your skin the less makeup you'll end up wearing and this is a very sheer look so it's all about the prep work as it's Valentine's Day weekend I thought that I would use the 12 piece pink and gold brush set so starting off with the pencil face brush I'm going to apply my concealer this is by amazing cosmetics and it's a really heavy coverage concealer but we're going to be using a sponge which is this little baby sponge that I got from Primark the other day if you guys follow me on Snapchat you would have seen this and a sponge will just give you slightly sheerer coverage and give you more of a blended natural finish I'm also just going to be applying a powder foundation instead of a liquid so I'm going to use two different types one for the center of my face which is slightly lighter and I'm using the F20 to apply that make sure to set the concealer first and then work around the rest of the face and the reason I'm using two different shades is to create more of a natural finish and I'm using a larger brush for the darker shade because I'm just going around the edge of the face but you can use the F20 if you want to and that's all the coverage that I want I still have a little bit of freckles I'm not full coveraged the skin feels really smooth and soft and it looks more real now if you're worried about it looking a bit powdery go over with a setting spray and this will just take any of that powdery effect away moving on to the Brows I'm going to use the spoolie and angled brush from the set and taking the black and the brown from this palette I'm just going to create little individual hairs with the angled brush I want the Brows to be quite natural but still slightly filled in to add a little bit more shape and to frame the face but I keep using the spoolie to brush through the Brows to create more of a natural finish so they're not going to look too heavy just going to look like you have naturally good brows I'm also going to use this to do a little bit of liner along the lashes so I'm going to take the black that I used on my brows and what you want to do is you want to aim for your lashes so don't worry about aiming for your lash line aim for your lashes themselves really push it in between your lashes as you go along and it doesn't have to be perfect it's all about creating a sultry soft defined eye another way that you can do this is use a contour and a highlighter just a little bit of it take a blending brush and apply the Contour in the crease if you don't have an obvious crease you can use this to add a little bit more shape and dimension to your eyes and then using a pencil brush I'm going to take the highlighter which will create more of a sheen on the inner corner of the eye the center of the lid above the brow nose Cupid's bow anywhere that you want to softly hit the light I'm also going to use this and the Contour brush from the set and very lightly Contour my face so just working in the hollow of the cheeks and then around the forehead then taking the highlighter on a round brush I'm basically going to apply this all over my face what I like about this highlighter is it creates more of a Sheen rather than a very highlighted look moving back to the eyes I'm going to curl my eyelashes and apply my favorite mascara this is by pennies and it is super super tiny and it's great for adding length and it wouldn't be a tutorial by me if we didn't involve falsies cuz you know how much I love false eyelashes and these lashes are actually new so I've never used them before and whenever I use new eyelashes I like to make sure the measurement is right so try them on and then trim them if you need to and as you guys know I push my lashes upwards instead of downwards so tattach to my underl lashes and not to my lash line it's a little strange but it always works for me and then I'm just going to add a bit of color to my cheeks I went for a bit more of a pinky blush than I usually do and then a matching lip liner and no this is not a rollup pencil this is an actual pencil you'll know what I mean if you follow me on social media and I'm just applying that lip liner all over my lips and then I have something really cool this is by Lancome and it smells exactly like banana bread I love banana out of bread so this is heaven to me but it's really hydrating and smooth and for my hair I just left it the way I normally do and then this is the top detail that I'm wearing it's just from pennies and I love the lace detail on it a little Spritz of my River Island perfume and that is the finished look I hope that you guys enjoy it and enjoy your weekend whatever you get up to if you haven't already don't forget to hit subscribe and I'd love if yo
