Using My Dark Circles for Good: Creative Makeup Tips
uh I have a new background and I like don't really know how I feel about it you guys are gonna have to let me know I'm like still deciding like is it too busy I don't know but it's also kind of fun I want a more atmosphere I don't know whatever um hi so I basically I wanted to test out some new concealers uh because they're here so I might as well utilize them my dark circles are here for you plus I have some new I just have some new ones and I thought it would be a good idea to like you know compare them and see how they're doing I'm going to be prepping my eye I'm going to do it on one side so we can compare it to the other side and I'm going to hopefully remember to put up like side by sides of each so that you can see how tcompare because I always forget to do that so the concealers I'm going to be using uh I have the milk I have two shades because I would we weren't entirely sure these this is the new milk makeup future fluid all over cream concealer so this is marketed as like an all over essentially like a concealer that you can use all over your face Maybe in place of foundation you know like if you just need some touch-up concealing lightweight whatever uh essentially supposed to be able to use it pretty much anywhere so we're gonna be testing out this which um was gifted to me by milk at their event launch event for this uh The Jacka black concealer which I had not heard of I think I've seen this brand on Sephora maybe when I was like perusing uh and tsent me a PR box and this came in it and I was like I'm interested uh so this is the liquid concealer in I think this is 2.0 I'm trying to remember if tsent me other colors I feel like tjust sent me the one but the color match looked pretty good uh so we're gonna be giving that a shot the beautiful skin concealer radiant sorry beautiful skin gradient concealer by Charlotte Tilbury this is I got the shade 2.5 Fair uh this one I purchased myself from Sephora just because I was like I need some more concealers to try so this is a new one that we're going to be testing out and then we're going to be using this even though I think it's way too light and I'm really disappointed because I was really excited about this concealer um so I'm going to be using it but we're going to have to just keep in mind it's way too light for like concealing my dark circles but it might be great for brightening uh this is the Dior backstage concealer in zero W I tried to pick up a darker one but basically all the ones that I would need were out of stock so it was either like this or like medium tones and those wouldn't have worked either so this is kind of like an honorable mention we'll do our best all right I'm going to zoom you in as always I'm prepping my under eyes the same way so I prepped my under eyes I just like I'm wearing skincare obviously I used um tatcha water cream all over my face and then I did a little extra under eye prep with um The Dewy skin cream so after I remove each one I'm going to go back in with my dewy skin cream wait for it to set and then go in with the next concealer just so you guys know I think I'm just going to apply it with my finger so I actually kind of wanted to start off with the milk makeup concealer because I have used this a little bit but when I first tried it I was just kind of like I don't know I wanted to give it a fair shot so we could compare to the other ones so I'm going to use 4N it does have a this little like applicator guy which is like kind of cute I just imagine this like around my nose I'm gonna pop a little bit of this down I'm not going to use any extra primer or a color corrector I guess for the purposes of this I'll just take it all the way up underneath my eye I always get questions about why I don't take my concealer all the way up and it's because I have like straight up creases naturally right there so if I take them up there then I get creasing no matter what it doesn't matter how much I set or how little I use I'm going to get creasing plus it makes my eye look smaller I think so I don't love that look anyway okay so this actually I wouldn't consider this like more of a medium coverage concealer it's a pretty lightweight formula for sure um it did a very good job of like concealing my dark circles you do see like a little bit of that gray cast coming through especially when I like tilt my head like this you know because obviously like we're pretty dark over here but as far as it looking like pretty seamless with my skin I'd say it's doing a pretty good job and actually a color match in general is nice I think when I went and got color matched twanted to give me five what did I say I had five W um but I just I knew it would be too dark I knew it would be too dark I was like I have I have bronzer on like so we went with 4N and I'm glad um the neutral shade seems to be like pretty nice especially for underneath my eyes I'm getting quite a bit of settling in those lines up here so you know like I said uh if you have deep creases you gotta watch out for that stuff if you're like me and you have them up here then just don't take it up all the way like it's really the hollow that you want to brighten up but that's actually not too bad I think from what I remember when I tried this the first time I think the reason that I didn't love it was because it is like a slightly thinner formula so when I tried to put it on top of my color corrector uh it just kind of like mixed together it didn't really like go on top of it I have spoken to Gabby about this and she loves it for like around the face essentially as like a replacement for foundation so but I think she said like under the eyes it's like fine but um she especially loves it for around the face so that's kind of interesting I don't know I love the packaging it's just like super cute um all right next up is The Jacka black concealer I'm super excited about this because I don't dude sometimes I lose track of like PR that I've accepted so I wasn't necessarily except except expecting this so this is the um liquid concealer offers full coverage for blemishes redness scarring and beard Shadow coverage One swipe of the creamy liquid concealer creates a Flawless matte finish that is long lasting sounds pretty good you know what I'm saying vegan and cruelty free made in the UK um so I'm very new to this brand I don't know them this is uh it's got like a little this guy applicator situation so I'm just gonna try to apply the same amount I'm just going to take a little little bit whoa looks pretty full coverage bro it's a little yellow and maybe maybe like a sixteenth of a shade dark this color seems like something that would be really first of all I love the formula it feels really really nice going on it feels almost like an eye cream so I really like that it's definitely creamy it's definitely full coverage the tone of it does a lot to cancel out my under eye circles it has enough enough warmth so that you're not
