Trying This New Lip Lining Technique | Lip Lining Tips

okay i have a new lip lining technique um i feel like i've done this so so many times like i've changed it so many times but and i just can't really like also i realized that i like tried not to overland my lips it's still happening but i feel like i'm getting closer to doing it so that it doesn't look insane we'll find out yeah i just want to share this with you really quick i tried it in a video the other day and i thought it looked like really good all right so this is what i did so i've got the make up for ever artist color pencil in the shade endless cacao right which is just like a cool toned contour kind of color you know and then i have i mean you can use pretty much any nude lip liner that you want but i use this one this is velvet sands by vive jamie genevieve's brand which is just like kind of a nice warm nude you guys know i love the lime crime topist but i think it's discontinued i don't know i bought like 12 when i heard that i can link like some of my favorite nude ones down below i also really like the nyx nude beige actually do i have that here yeah nyx nude beige is just like oh gee i've been using it forever uh if i compare it to vive it's just a little bit more cool toned a little more taupey i guess uh but just any any nude lip liner or i mean any any color it doesn't really matter just you want something a little bit lighter than the contour shade um let me strip in this all right so what i did was because i really like to i'm trying to remember what my mindset was and why i was doing the things that i was doing so i like i like a pouty looking lip i used to really over line the outer part of my lip because that's where it like goes down and gets a little bit thinner like the center of my lips is like relatively full so that's what i used to do and then i did this video where i tried snitcheries like over lining technique where you like really over line the like top part and then you kind of go down and meet your your lip line so it's kind of like this shape you know and i really liked that but then i did it a few more times and it looked kind of crazy so i'm trying to marry the two anyway so one place that i like to contour is my cupid's bow so i like to kind of because my my lower lip is a little bit more full than my upper lip so i started off by doing this so i have i don't know if that's what it's called but i think it's called a double lining like you can see that like my lip line is kind of beveled you know like you can see this line so my lip line is actually like in here but i actually go up there so i kind of follow that double lining and kind of round it out so i just did that to begin with like defines that cupid's bow i did the same thing with the lower lip so even though like my lower lip is like pretty full um just underneath so literally just like in the center and then i went to the ends and i started at my natural lip line or i started like just above my natural lip line and i kind of just did that you know so i was like starting off with like where i would typically contour on the bottom on the top so just start it off with that a little abstract then i went in with my nude lip liner in this case i'm going to use aviv uh v what are the velvet sands and i kind of did the rest of the lining and just blended that contour at a moment so i tried to not like over line too much i just kind of like rounded that out a little bit and then met that line down there i went back and forth a little to get them nice and even and then i just blended into the contour so i didn't get rid of it completely but i started like blending those colors together a little like just kind of filling in the gaps and the more you kind of like round this area out the more like pouty and kind of cartoonish it can look but it just gives your lips like this lift you know so that's kind of the shape that i was creating kind of gives you like a smile you know and i'm always i always look angry and then i was just kind of like playing with new products so i have this nyx lingerie xxl uh matte liquid lipstick this is in the shade turn on and i just kind of it's just like a nice nude i just kind of like put that in the center and padded it into those lip liners because like once you start blending it it literally just looks like my lip color so i just lightly blend it into those lip liners i love a diffused lip recently you just want to be careful not to especially if you overland you want to be careful not to like completely remove product but it just created like the most pretty stain and then i didn't leave it at that that this is like beautiful i love i love that look you know it just kind of looks like structured but like my lips then i went in with um this melt cosmetics uh lipstick in the shade zaddy which is a zadi which is just a very pale peach nudey peach and i did this right in the center and i went right up just under that beveling to create just an illusion that that's my actual lip line up there and just kind of kept it in the center isn't that really pretty i love it you can kind of like over line or not as much as you want and you're just kind of like creating like you can go around your lip line but just create this shape you know like maybe you go up a teeny bit up here and then down a little bit onto your like lip and then up you know what i mean there's some wiggle room but i just really loved the finish of it i really loved the way it looked i thought that it looks like nice and pouty but not like ridiculous you know i don't know maybe you think it looks ridiculous you can let me know i'm sure you they're will little uneven my lips are uneven though that's just you know a thing but anyway i wanted to share that with you guys so if you are interested here it is and i just kind of like this lip combo and maybe i just wanted to show you that uh but yeah that's basically i hope it was helpful um i really like these lip products right now so like cute
