Strobing Makeup Tutorial | Mondaymakeuplessons

for today's Monday makeup lesson I am talking strobing this is a highlighting technique which creates an almost wet look appearance to the skin it's fun to try it out so let's give it a go typically this technique would be focused on the top of the cheeks maybe underneath the arch and on the Cupid's bow but strobing is all over the center of the forehead either side of the arch above and below the arch the center of the lid the inner corner down the length of the nose the top of the cheekbones the Cupid's bow the chin and underneath the hollow of the cheeks as well I think cream will acquits work best so I'm mixing two on the back of my hand use a synthetic brush for this and start to brush this over the skin just gliding over the top in between the two arch of the brows on the top of the brows down the length of the nose the tip of the chin at the top of the cheekbones and underneath the hollow of the cheeks on the jawline now for blush I'm mixing up a tint and a highlighter and this will really catch the light and keep that glow to the skin to set the liquids I'm moving on to powders so a powder blush make sure it's not matte it's gotta have that glow and then a shimmering powdered highlighter focus on the top of the cheekbones to really catch the light and use whatever's left over underneath the hollow of the cheeks on that jawline the center of the forehead once again use a very small amount here the center of the nose on the tip of the nose the Cupid's bow and anything left over on the chin now take a smaller brush and apply it on the inner corner of the eye the center of the lid and above and below the arch finish with a setting spray this is a dewy wet look setting spray so it'll really keep that glow and that's strobing it's not something I would personally do I don't think it suits me you need an even skin texture normal to dry skin to get away with it but it's fun to give it a go don't forget to Like and subscribe and check out these videos in case you've missed them
