Sparkly Black Nye Smokey Eyes In-depth Makeup Tutorial
guys it's me Nikki after doing a hundred and seventy-three challenges on my channel today I wanted to sit down and come up with a festive out-of-the-box New Year's Eve look you know think dark smoky eyes a little bit of glitter a little bit of glam and something that gives it a twist you know I haven't done an actual in-depth makeup tutorial in such a long time and I feel like you know the makeup era on YouTube is like really shifting but you know every now and then you got to go back to the roots go back to what the people want and I've been reading all your messages and all your comments and you guys want in-depth makeup right now so here I am delivering it for you guys so yeah if you guys are excited then so am I then I am excited too and we're not hiding forever do let's go on to some in-depth bouncing on the face all righty let's get glam shall we all right so the first product I'm going in with is this one by Milani this is called the conceal imperfect two-in-one foundation and concealer now I don't live that life I need a separate concealer but this is an amazing affordable foundation picking that up on a velvet sponge this one is by Juno Inc oh and using the bunch of the sponge I'm just going to sponge it in just using up and down tapping motions to get that product in and you can see our full coverage this is oh my gosh up and down up and down up and down this will make sure that you maintain all the coverage of the product as soon as you start swiping here watch my cheek I did up and down motions so it kept the pigments and the coverage intact as soon I start dragging the product in look creates streaks creates redness creates holes and now honey we ain't about that life time to fight those under eyes now my favorite concealer is this one as you wave this is called the essential high coverage liquid concealer now the thing is this does cost a loop more but I'm just gonna say this this is the concealer on the market right now if you love shape tape but you find it a bit drying and you find it to just not sit on the skin as well this I feel like has even more coverage you need less product it's more creamy and rich on the skin and it doesn't dry my under eyes out this is shaped Apes bigger sister that has evolved more in life and has gone through a lot more [ __ ] and knows what's going on so this does cost a little bit more I do have a discount code when it comes to you way that code is Nikki and of course it's an affiliate code so I only want you to use it when you're okay using it but if you want to save money you can so we just used a little butt of the sponge for foundation I'm gonna take the rounded side for under my eyes so I'm just gonna start by tapping it in just like the foundation and I work my way from bottom to top so make sure I blend it in seamlessly on the cheeks first then I look up and go right against my lashes now if you find that if you're wearing any foundation or concealer and throughout the day these weird little build up lines of product start forming on the under eyes this is what we call creasing now a way to prevent creasing is baking and baking is picking up your powder with that sponge and setting it I take the flat edge of the sponge I dip it into my powder I'm using a Maybelline fit me loose powder and I'm just gonna tap under the eye using all that powder and it might be a little scary at first just tap it in what's gonna happen is that powder is gonna set the wet concealer and foundation and it's going to make sure that it doesn't move throughout the day and also if you're using a lighter shade like I am using right now it also helps highlighting that under-eye some more we're now gonna leave it like this don't worry you know it doesn't look good until the very end that is what pretty much every makeup artist is out there okay now I'm taking a powder puff and dipping it into a face powder I'm pressing this into the skin as well and then we're literally gonna slap this into our pores get it in there press it in there don't smear don't swipe don't wipe and used a little bit of force like really get it in there this is gonna set your face and it's gonna make sure that your face looks perfect and beautiful until you take it off using that same puff I'm also gonna Pat in that under I bake it's gonna remove the excessive amounts of powder and make your under eye look fullness okay now a little warning if you're following this tutorial step by step and you're doing this with the powder your face is gonna look powdered now the magic is just letting this sit here so it has time to really settle down and then in the very end we're gonna go ham with a setting spray and setting spring is gonna make this all wet again aka wetting the powdery finish and that's gonna transform her back into skin if you want any I look to be a success of course you have to go in with the base and the base I'm using is the pea Louise one then after that I'm going straight in with a highlighter and putting this on the brow bone and this is just gonna help set the brow bone but also help blend out the crease colors later on now the first shot I'll be using is the bare necessity color from this beauty babe rights palette picking that up on a fluffier blending brush and starting to diffuse that into my crease now the thing with this color is you almost want to bring this up to the brow today we're creating a super blown out black glittery smokey eye goodness and this transition color is gonna save you and make it look more blended and put together but we of course want to actually be able to see the transition color so I'm putting it almost against my brow to still see some warmth in the end okay now we're gonna go in with that more cool toned darker Brown right next to it it's called okay I'm gonna butcher this preppy pecan did it get it right picking that up on a more concentrated blending brush and starting to diffuse this closer towards the bottom of the crease and you guessed it this is our next transition shade for the black and I feel like you definitely want to take your time and really blending out the edges by using soft circular motions you know I feel like if the transition is nice and smooth the black is only gonna look better so if you have some time sit down and really work on those edges here now in order to give my black a little bit more structure I'm using a black pencil on the lid and then now going in with a black shade ilicit to pack that on the lid and softly tapering it into the crease now black is one of the scariest colors when it comes to makeup so I suggest just picking up a little bit every single time packing it on the lid using up-and-down tapping motions and just take your time okay little by little just pack it on and go up a little bit higher every single time you apply that shade and then we'll focus on blending just get that color on make it as opaque and black as you can and then we'll perfect – softly taper out th
