Prom Makeup Tutorial (Drugstore Edition) | Affordable Glam
today's makeup look is perfect for any special occasion Begin by applying a primer to the face and eyelids take a small piece of tape and apply from the lower lash line an angle upwards towards the edge of the Brows use concealer as a base to neutralize any discolor ation on the lid apply a Black Pencil or eyes Shadow starting at the Lash line and working upwards towards the crease once applied lightly blend this outwards I'm using a cool tone brown with a small blending brush and I'm blending over the top of the black gradually blend this upwards towards the crease remember to use the tape blending right over the top for a perfect finish keep applying until you get the depth that you want because I have royal blue tones in my dress I'm going to apply a touch of blue over what we've already applied this will give a subtle hint of color but feel free to use any color that works for you when you're ready remove the tape use a shimmering cream eyeshadow with a flat brush Pat this from the inner corner and work across the lid take your favorite gel or liquid liner and apply it across the Lash line then use the align the tape created to taper it outwards I'm also going to define the outer edge of the lower lash line this will add shape and photographs take your time getting the line just right don't try and do it in one sweep apply mascara and then I recommend using false eyelashes tmake a huge difference to this look another important step is to define the Brows you don't need to change the shape of the Brows but defining them will prevent them from disappearing in photographs a tinted brow gel is all some people need for this for the skin I'm applying a lighter concealer to the center of my face with a foundation that matches my neck and chest I'm applying this on the outer edge of the face and blending inwards I would suggest using a contour powder to define the face shape use the corner of the lips and the top of your ear as a guide and blend this over and back and to balance the look Contour the top of the forehead as well can't forget to set everything in place with a setting powder or setting spray I'm keeping the look neutral otherwise using a nude lipstick and that's the look complete thank you so much for watching
