Makeup I Got In Japan + My Secret Brush…

yes I had already filmed it I'm such a trickster hi my name is Alex if you're new if you watched my last video which was my Japan haul I asked you if you wanted to see a makeup look using all the makeup that I got obviously I knew the answer was yes and so this is me from the past talking about a future video that I'm about to film basically I'm going to be creating a makeup look using all of the makeup that I got in Japan so my face is freshly cleansed uh I used my typical like event moisturizer so I picked up like a few different sunscreens which I showed you in my haul video uh the one that I'm going to be using today is going to kind of like act as my Foundation this is a new one that I want to try uh this is La Roche Posay which is a French brand but I did pick it up in Japan which is why it's all up in Japanese on the back this is the BB cream and number two thad one and two and one just seemed like a little too neutral I don't know if this is going to be too dark but I do have like a light concealer so we'll see how this goes but I was really um intrigued by this because it's SPF 50 and I love the idea of a sunscreen that's tinted that can act as like a foundation replacement I also picked up this Comfort makeup cream which is a primer which I'm not going to be trying right now simply because uh I have like a lot of SPF or like a fair amount of SPF products to try so I'll be trying this probably like off screen and then reporting back it might pop up in later videos by the way nothing I'm wearing right now I picked up in Japan but look at how cute these earrings are they're from this brand called I actually don't know how to pronounce it it's um it's my middle name anele but with two ends and now n l n l a maybe I don't know uh targeted ad but like twere so cute and I was like I have to get them so I did I'll link them down below so I'm actually just going to apply this with my fingers it's definitely a little bit dark but I like the golden tone so I will be able to um brighten up a little bit with my concealer so if you didn't see my haul video basically what I did was I just went into a Japanese like drugstore thad a bunch of like skincare and makeup brands and I I mean it was very overwhelming because obviously I don't speak Japanese so I just kind of looking at things that seemed interesting I used the translator app on my phone if you didn't know the iPhones have like a translation I think it's just called translate if you search it on your phone and you can like take photos of different languages and then translate them to English or whatever language you speak and uh so I did that quite a bit but it's like kind of Hit or Miss so I was just kind of walking around being like this looks like a blush I'll be I'll buy this this is eyeshadow about this okay we are looking a little shiny um and a little a little golden so I'm gonna go in with this concealer that I picked up from the brand Luna uh oh it's actually SPF 34. again bought these when I was in Japan all the labels are in Japanese so I will do my best oh this is a Korean brand so this is um made in Korea uh Luna in a shade so yeah I'll do my best to link everything down below but so I'm going to brighten do a little bit of brightening feels very nice I thought the color looked really good I was a little hesitant to buy um complexion products simply because it's just like there weren't any testers and it's like a little difficult to tell you know I'm gonna blend this out using my refer 36 brush shout out to rougher refer is a Japanese brand so we're on theme Here this is actually going to work out because I don't have a bronzer I only have a contour that's nice nice formula so a lot of people were speculating why I was in Japan because I have talked about a secret brush and yes obviously it's with refer obviously like it's not that's not a surprise just based on like how it looks in all of that but uh I wasn't I wasn't going there specifically for this brush um we had a friend who was getting married so we were going to a wedding and uh basically just turned it into a vacation but I was going to try and meet up with the refer team and go to uh their headquarters but unfortunately they're located on like the opposite end of Japan we were in um we went to Kamakura hayama for the wedding Kyoto Osaka and then Tokyo um and unfortunately where tare located was like a 10 hour train ride from like Kyoto so we just we couldn't make it happen but yeah the trip was absolutely incredible and I was so sad to leave I can't wait to go back I cannot wait to go back the food was incredible the shopping is amazing I wish I'd made that more of a priority I definitely didn't um because like I said this wasn't a work trip or anything this was you know a vacation if I go back which I absolutely want to I'm definitely going to make shopping a priority because the shopping was amazing also loving this combination for my complexion right now sunscreen or the BB cream is making my skin look super duper hydrated gave like really nice color and this concealer is a really nice formula beautiful color like perfect color for me blending so nicely I'm trying to use a brush so that so as not to disturb the SPF I mean I don't know it is actually it's really cool that this concealer has SPF as well kind of doing like an under painting situation I'm just going in with a fluffy brush to do some blending soften things make sure that there's no like harsh areas we did spend um the majority of our time in Tokyo and we saw like pretty like dope fashion everywhere that we went um I would say as far as makeup goes I saw some really pretty makeup like um very you know pretty Shimmer some nice colors and stuff but for the most part it wasn't particularly um outrageous for for the most part it was very subdued you know kind of just like enhancements fun like Shimmer and a little bit of color with like uh an emphasis on like the outer corner and lower lash line beautiful formulas they're like setting so nicely I feel like they're not going to move uh I do have like a little bit of shine still so I might set with a powder but I'm kind of kind of loving this what brand is this is La Roche Posay so I might actually buy the other one that I didn't pick up um just because it was a little bit lighter it looked like it would be a little too neutral but I don't know I feel like I can make it work oh I totally forgot I picked up this sheet mask um a pack of sheet masks at the drugstore I don't know how to say this fence seal maybe fan seal um once again all in Japanese made in Japan so this is a Japanese brand and I my skin was starting to like suffer at the end because I was eating like not drinking enough water and eating a lot of Japanese candies uh so I kind of went through these really fast I only have two left but they're so nice like so incredibly nice so I'm gonna try to see if I can pick more of these up because I really really they'
