everyone welcome back to the makeup chair today I'm talking makeup bags detoxing I want to show you guys that's a detox your makeup bag and make sure you only have essentials in here so let's get started start by laying out all the makeup in your makeup bag if your makeup bag has seen better days you can either wash it or ditch and get yourself a nice fresh new one divide all the makeup in two brushes and tools Foundation and concealer lush bronzers and powders eyeliners and mascara on any pilots that you might have and finally your lip products then you want to divide your makeup into three piles and keep piled a giveaway pile and a throwaway pile and the throwaway pile is the hardest thing to do because we love our makeup we don't want to get rid of it but if something is looking a bit discolored if it smells weird especially for mascaras if it's not working the way that it used to and get rid of it next you have a giveaway pile these are all part ups that you've just never used because maybe it's an eyeshadow palette that's just got the wrong colors maybe it's a blush this wrong shade of bronze or the too dark foundation that just doesn't work for your skin whatever it might be give it to someone else that it is gonna suit now all that's gone you're going to be left over with your key tile so in this pile we want to make sure you have a foundation BB cream or CC cream whatever might seep you a concealer that's got good coverage in it a blush a bronzer a powder maybe even a highlighter of eyebrow gel or palette whatever you like to use an eyeshadow palette that's going to work with your skin tone and your eye color I'm a scar that's been bought within the last six months you just want to make sure you wipe it down to get rid of an old mascara I do have a video on how to disinfect your mascara and keep it nice and clean so I'll put that in the information box eyeliners gel looks like weights pencils whatever it might be if you're using any pencils sharpen them make sure you put a lid on them and pop them into your bag and then they're always ready and you don't have to worry about it damaging the inside of your bag an eyelash curler I popped that baby in now if you find that your eyelashes just aren't getting crawled with your eyelash curler the way that you used to you probably need to get a new um because mechanism can actually get kind of damaged over time so get yourself a new one if you find the eyelashes aren't a good curl and finally some of your favorite lip products you want something that's nude that you can wear with smoky eye you want something that's natural which is quite close to your lip color that's just going to compliment your skin all the time and then maybe a little bit of pop of color like a red or a hot pink or something like that when it comes to essential makeup brushes you want to make sure you have a foundation brush and a concealer brush and powder brush a blush and a highlighter or bronzer brush that's a lot of brushes to you then I would recommend getting the act 20 by Bank Emma's cosmetics because of that brush does all of those things in one but I recommend getting two of them so you have one that's clean one that's right to be cleaned you know what I mean and when it comes to the eyes you want to make sure you have a flat brush for applying eyeshadow a blending brush for blending it in a spoolie and an angled brush for doing your brows and then a lip brush and those are my essential brushes and that is pretty much everything please send your before and after pictures if you're gonna do this hashtag makeup bag detox to at the make up chairs actually the Katie or hashtag the makeup chair so I can find it and I will see you guys any video or really release it back I have a list my bracelets out of these like clips on the opposite side so sad maybe you're heard of them but I need a new chair so I'm feeling uncomfortable to hashtags they're just like whose
