Make Your Lipstick Last Thru All The Holiday Parties

okay i don't know if this like circle behind me is weird but i think it's cute let me know what you think okay so somebody asked me on instagram for a list basically of pr lip products that will last like holiday parties like holiday lip options basically something that's going to be long wearing that you can like eat and drink and whatever and it'll last it's so easy you guys like it's literally one thing that's literally what i'm wearing right now i'm going to take this off so i can tell you with a red lip even though i know a lot of people are like over red lips for the holidays now first up for long lasting lip color i think the you know obvious thing is like if your lips are really really dry um you might want to exfoliate if they're like cracked you don't want to exfoliate you just want to like hydrate like crazy my favorite lip balm lip balm is the aquaphor uh healing ointment so thave um thave the actual like lip ones and i have one somewhere you guys have heard me talk about it a million times i have the ones with spf i have the normal one i just i prefer this over cerave because i find it to be a lot thicker and um more hydrating so i'm gonna hydrate my lips because i just removed my lip product and i'm gonna let that sit while i talk to you about what the product is it's just lip liner like any lip liner i mean obviously a good lip liner and i'm going to link all of my favorites down below including like some of my favorite colors there are all kinds of products out there that say that they're going to be like super long lasting and um they're not gonna break down or they're gonna be like kiss proof and all that [ __ ] i don't know listen there are some that are good but in my personal opinion whenever i wanna wear a really comfortable lightweight lip that's gonna give me like really good payoff really good color but it's gonna last and um it's not gonna be like super drying like a liquid lipstick would i always just wear a lip liner and that is it so what i was wearing before was just um melt cosmetics nudist uh as like a little bit of a contour and um the like all over color was huda beauty pinky brown that's it two lip liners and that was it but i to allow my lips enough time to like absorb this hydration because i don't want them to be super hydrated when i go in with my lip liner because i won't get like a good amount of payoff let's zoom in i'm using a ring light i haven't done this in a really long time but it's been so gloomy there's like no light at all um so that's what we're using but anyway so i'm going to just kind of like work that into my lips i'm just gonna i kind of pat it in because i don't want them to be super like wet but i want them to be um well hydrated before i go in with my lip liner so since it's my absolute favorite holiday color red lip liner of all time i'm gonna use lisa eldridge velvet ribbon or i guess this is just called ribbon make sure it's nice and sharp first and i'm going to start off by lining my lips so that i can create the shape and then i'm just going to fill them in all right and if you want to go in and contour and like do other crazy [ __ ] to make them look like really three-dimensional and blah blah you know all the videos you can do that but look at this you know what i mean it's amazing like literally any lip liner um and i'm telling you this one is not i mean it's amazing i love this lip liner that's like the colors so such perfection and whatever but like this is not like this magical okay listen it's lisa eldridge it's a little bit magical but any lip liner and like i said i'm gonna link all of my favorite lip liners down below the formulas that i enjoy that i think are like the most you know comfortable and wearable but the best thing about a lip liner just a lip liner is that it's so lightweight you know so this is gonna be my go-to i mean this is my go-to whenever i like go out to dinner or something like that i usually will um you know if i'm going for like a really natural lip i'll just do a little bit of lip liner and then maybe a tiny bit of lip balm but if i want my color like pay off like this it's gonna last then i just do simple simple lip liner and that's it that's literally all you need now if you wanted to uh you can go in with a stain over top l'oreal has a really nice uh what is this called something lip color [ __ ] man i wish that i it does like doesn't have the names on it but it looks like this and it's basically a lip stain it's like a liquid um lip stain and thave a bunch of different colors this is the nude one in the shade uh 416 i create uh which is one of my favorite nude ones but this is very long lasting it adds like a little bit more hydration if that's something that you need but um yeah i would just suggest investing in a good lip liner um i hope that was helpful i know it's super quick and it's like kind of easy and maybe a little bit obvious but this is my go-to for like when i need a lip that's gonna last because i hate the way liquid lipsticks feel on my lips i just like stopped wearing them completely because tjust like they're too heavy they're too thick tcrack and i feel like talways end up giving you like that nasty like dried butthole lip when you like after you're eating and drinking and stuff so uh let me know if this is what you do for the holidays i hope everybody
