Let’s Compare The New Dior Concealer To Drugstore

uh i believe that at least a few of you oh why did i do that requested that i review the uh forever skin correct concealer by dior so this is relatively new don't know how long but uh people were calling it new so i know it was new anyway uh so this is supposed to be 24-hour wear caring what full coverage creamy concealer floral extract enriched uh it's like diamond shaped which is interesting so it might like contour to the face a little differently see that uh so i have not tried this yet this is gonna be the first impression and i just wanna see i wanna see uh the shade that i got is 1w which i believe is supposed to be i think it was labeled as olive on the website and i think the reason that one of the people asked me to review it was because thad olive shades so i'm super excited about this i got another color but it's like just like just in case uh but it is too dark and like a little bit more neutrally anyway let's just do it um color looks great already i'm going to be using a sponge just because so i'm using my elsie cosmetics velvet sponge to blend this out that is not too bad kind of a pretty formula actually i'm gonna try to build it up hmm oh i didn't tell you what i primed i didn't prime i'm like fresh out of the shower so all that's on my skin is the touch of water water uh water cream yeah i was pretty well hydrated so that is quite lovely actually oh it's really pretty i really like it i actually i really love the color of it obviously i'm not using the color corrector so like you know but and it's also this is going to be a little bit different you guys because all of my other concealer videos where i was uh reviewing concealers i had under eye filler and it's gone now so i will say that i'm not really seeing that much of a gray cast i'm looking at my monitor so like as i turn my i can see like a tiny bit of one um and obviously i have that hollow back but i don't know the formula kind of looks like it looks very natural it's quite full coverage i mean considering you know um it has like a very natural skin like finish i thought i thought it was supposed to be like kind of matte but i would say that maybe i don't know maybe my skin is just like a little too dewy right now oh but it's moving really nicely curious i don't know what i would compare it to um obviously the coverage is not like the cabinetron central skin enhancer because that's like so intense but i am interested in comparing it to the l'oreal full coverage uh infallible full wear concealer because the colors are kind of similar the i don't know how well you can tell but the l'oreal is just a little bit more on the neutral side and i would say the dior shade is a little more on the olive side which is nice it is a pretty true olive especially for fair skin let's compare it to infallible i'm going to start off with the same little amount and then build them up and i'm going to be using the same sponge but i'm going to flip it so that we're doing the same thing i feel like this is already more full coverage but wow okay so uh i feel like the uh the l'oreal i think is more full coverage it's definitely got a more matte finish as well so this is interesting yeah it's definitely more full coverage the l'oreal because that was one pass it's very similar like one application of the l'oreal that tiny little amount is very similar to two of the dior both the colors look nice i feel like this one kind of like blends into my skin a little bit easier this one seems to kind of stand out a little bit so here's the difference i kind of feel like uh the l'oreal is actually looking a little bit like dry underneath my eyes like definitely more matte it is a little bit more full coverage but the dior has maybe like a teeny bit more stretch to it because it's got a little bit more hydration i mean they're both you know settling in my fine lines but that should happen so i feel like this one is really complementing my skin type though it looks very uh healthy it looks very healthy i'm very intrigued by this that's the coverage comparison i definitely would say that it's a little bit more on the dewy side so if you have like very oily skin and you're looking for something for full coverage and you typically typically need to use like a more matte concealer it might not be the thing for you but the color is really beautiful tone is really nice um this is one that i'm probably going to continue to use and i'll keep you guys updated on that you'll probably see it in another video all right that's it little quick one just wanted to let you know uh about this concealer and what my thoughts are and i will keep you updated as i formulate new ideas next time
