I Feel Cozy In This Makeup…in A Hot Fire Kinda Way

okay it is a very cold relatively rainy day in Los Angeles I said relatively because it's Los Angeles so like it's La cold and rainy thank God this is a desert I spent like 24 24 25 years of my life in New Hampshire in the cold in the sleet I've adjusted to LA and it's cold and rainy and I want to feel cozy which is why I'm wearing my skims robe real cozy real warm uh and I want to do cozy makeup I wanted this to be a cozy eyeshadow look I'm gonna do it so perfect timing earlier today I received the new Lisa Eldridge eyeshadow palettes this little guy just like tried to pop out uh this palette in particular is screams cozy Vibes to me beautiful warm kind of caramely color this like Rich warm reddish brown with this like unique kind of like warm soft gray this is the palette that I'm going to be using on my dip into another one I'm thinking maybe dose of color Shayla wifey palette because same deal cozy feeling matte Shimmer cozy okay warm comfy love I primed my eyes already using the about face eye primer I probably shouldn't have taken it underneath my eyes right now I got some serious like dry crepiness happening under there uh so that was a bit of a mistake it's fine we're just gonna put eye shadow there we're gonna make it real Smoky and it'll be fine I obviously do have the rest of my base makeup on for the most part but we're going to be doing like highlight and I haven't put any blush on yet so we're gonna like round out the look as far as your base goes you can either watch my video it's very long and chatty or do what you're comfortable with I'm going to start off with my weighing Goss number 20 brush also very similar to the refer 13 brush real similar price isn't that different I believe Wayne Goss is a little bit more expensive and I'm gonna pick up oh tdo have names raw Sienna I'm gonna swirl my brush in raw Sienna I'm going to place this around my eye socket to begin with now one of the best things about Lisa she's a pro so she knows what's going to work on everybody okay I don't care what your age is I don't care what your skin type is I don't care what your skin tone is the stuff's gonna work when you take a look at these mats you can see a tiny tiny top bit of what almost looks like a pearl it's like the tiniest like bit of satin so that it's not heavy on the skin I'm talking about it like I'm an expert I just I literally just opened this palette it's my first time using it but I just know I just knew I knew I knew and I know so I'm gonna build this up around the crease how Smoky you make it that's going to be up to you I've really been craving a warm toned eye I really haven't done a classic warm toned smokey eye in a very very long time so that's what we're gonna do so bringing it in closer to the inner corner of the lid as I bring it to the inner part of the eye not smoking it in here I want to keep that area relatively light and I'm just taking whatever is left over on the brush and buffing it up towards my brow bone remember to stop and look straight forward so that you can kind of see like how everything is going to look when you're just at rest so I'm going to kind of create a little bit of a Halo eyeshadow look with my typical kind of like lift because that's just what is most flattering on my eye shape in my opinion now I'm actually going to use the same brush which might seem large I'm going to pick up that same color pointing upward I'm going to run this along the under part of my lower lid so you can see I have all of these kind of like creases down here where my concealers come up a little bit I took some primer there it doesn't look so Savory right now savory like the opposite of unsavory so what I'm going to do is use my eyeshadow to pull the attention away from that I'm going to buff and blend on top of it pushing this area back in space this area back in space which brings this area forward a little bit more which makes the hollow of my under eye look flatter see the difference there this is coming forward because these are the same color and my anatomy comes forward here so just adjusting that keep in mind the size of your eyes I have like relatively large eyes quite a bit of room to work with here so I can get away with using a slightly larger brush but if you're trying to keep your eye shadow tighter to the Lash line or if you have smaller eyes using a smaller brush is going to just give you more precision and if you feel like you usually end up smoking things out like way too much immediately that'll help all right I'm going to use my refer 26 brush which is a little bit smaller a little bit more pointed I'm going to pick up deep ocher oh very very rich tapping off my brush so I don't get any Fallout I'm going to focus this on the outer corner of the eye drawing it in around the eyeball into the eye socket so I just want to Define this area a little bit more and I'm taking it slightly onto the outer part of the lid bringing it in again keeping it tighter as I go inward I'm going to pick up a little bit more of that color place it directly on the inner part of the lid and then I'm going to go backward a little little circular motions only picked up a little bit more product so I want the majority of the pigment and contrast to be on the outer part of the eye which especially if you have like close set eyes is going to help prevent your eyes from looking even more close-up buffing toward the center of the lid but not closing it off completely I'm going to grab that first brush blend around those edges and repeat the process on the other side unless you want to have two completely different eyeshadow looks who knows I'm sorry I need every color in this formula it is perfection I have had kind of a hard time with blending recently and this is just like foolproof completely foolproof all right using that same brush and that same color I'm going to buff on my lower lash line trying to decide how Smoky I want to make this because I just like haven't done a really smoky eye in a really long time so building up the contrast on the outer part and then close to the Lash line and then slowly buffing downward into that caramely color and making sure to connect up to the outer corner I'm going to use that same brush it's just like a brush okay it's and then I'm gonna grab oh do I want to use that one oh how warmed I really don't know I'm gonna go into the wifey palette I'm going to grab this dark brown from shayla's collab with dose of colors and I'm just going to build up that contrast even more always placing that pigment where I want it to make the biggest impact then I can start blending it into other areas I'm just going to take what's left over on that brush onto the outer part of the lower lash line just kind of like looking straight ahead I like to use my lower lash line as a guide for that lift just on the outer just on the outer corner and then kind of like bringing it here almost as if I was like creating a wing now I'm going to
