have sort of grown out of a mentally challenging phase of your life um a lot of people tend to change up their hair and if you've been following me for a little bit you know that i've had multiple challenges in my life and for the longest time now i've been wanting to change up my appearance a bit been working out a lot really trying to work on my fitness you are my witness but also i've been really toying with the idea of changing my hair up this is coming from the girl who didn't even think about cutting her bangs during lockdown my hair is really important to me um it's i feel like as a transgender person it's a very touchy subject like my hair's kind of my everything i always wanted to be on fleek stop writing that comment i know today's not that day throughout the years i have tried many different styles i even started my youtube channel almost like 13 years ago with a short brown bob youtubers this is going to be my first um makeup tutorial didn't look good but for quite a while now i have been blonde like luscious locks loved it all but today it's time for a change after toying with the idea of changing it up um today is that day today it's gonna happen so this is my hair this is not all me i do have extensions and i have two hair queens in my life elisa always cuts and colors my hair plus does my extensions and then i have mindy who always styles it but elisa and mindy are like my hair queens so i texted elisa and i was like girl it's time and she loves that it's time she's been waiting for this moment for so long she's been doing my coloring my extensions for so long she actually got me to this beautiful blonde but it's time for a change and that is exactly what is going to be happening in today's video i am completely changing up my look but here's the catch you won't be able to tell what color my hair will be until the very end of this video once elisa starts coloring my hair the video goes total wanda vision style black and white and i want you take them all out and um put them back in and do something new with your hair huh something new i haven't shown my natural hair in years you haven't seen it yourself in years i guess true cause every time she takes them out i'm like i'm not gonna watch i'm not gonna watch i can't deal i can't deal basically she she sections the hair and then she has this micro rings micro rings put them in and then sew the hair onto the micro rings yes oh god oh god i'm just gonna cut them out okay so i've been thinking long and hard about this but i think it's time to cut it all off nice little ball oh can you imagine well no no no i don't think it's the best look for you oh see all that so we're gonna get this out now and go choose next so we've been doing this for oh i think we're doing the weeks for two two years now because before i had the the tapes the tapes yeah which i thought was the only option but thank god we switched that one up i have a thin hair i don't have a lot of it yeah yeah she's like yeah yeah i can't disagree yeah for the longest time you know i've been always looking around to see like how i could you know make my hair look fuller so then i had like the clip-ins and then i went to la once and my friend kim tai introduced me to stephanie and she did tape tape-ins and i thought well that's the only option and then i found you and you did tape-ins on me for like what a year and then she was like you know we have other options right so for me the tape-ins were great because they're tlie really flat against the head but um like after two weeks tget all gummy and then uh elise was like well we can do the weave in don't leave in but weave in but i feel like you can really go about your life for at least six weeks and then tjust grow lower uh down and it's great a couple of years ago she completely changed my hair color and we've been doing um highlights ever since we had a period where i was really blonde and the moment we did the the the two strings yeah the big money piece yeah so everyone on tick tock was like bleaching their two front parts and then putting collaring them and i was like i want to be one of the cool kids so i texted at least i was like can we do that she was like sure won't know if we like it but we can do it and we did it and we didn't like it no oh my god no wait let me feel it oh no and this people is why hair extensions is an option wait can we show the back well very long and that's something yeah and you see that we leave this completely dark where our extensions are so there is the last least amount of damage okay so this is all me and this is what just got off my oh my god yes this is just what was removed from my head these are all the extensions so now um um elise is going to put them back in and then it's time for one of asian style black and white honey now would you say this color that we're doing today suits me no no okay great of course of course it will suit you whenever you have a client that has like a very you know unique request yeah what do you what like what have been some of the most unique requests well i don't think it's really unique but there was this time when kim kardashian went platinum so all the black haired girls wanted to go platinum and yeah that's just very difficult ladies you can't do that in one step takes a lot of time costs a lot of money so just don't do it your hair will fall off just buy a wig so when it comes to me and my hair well like i mentioned in the intro it's it's very special to me it's very important to me i uh look at me trying to say like change i don't like change at all sometimes you have to sometimes i have to change it up a little bit but like that i love it for a day and then i wake up the following morning a
