I Don’t Like These: Honest Product Reviews

hi uh wanted to share some things with you that i just didn't really like or tjust didn't work for me and if tdidn't work for me i probably didn't like them like why the clarification i feel like it made things way more complicated anyway um so for those of you who might not know i've been going through a bit of a skincare journey since i went to see a dermatologist and i got put on some actives including tretinoin and benzoyl wait benzoyl peroxide benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin so my skin has gone through like a quite a journey of like dry irritated trying to figure out all the products that will work together not pill not irritate not dry out just all that stuff so a couple of these are skin care so that's what i'm gonna start off with um so the first one is one that like i literally heard just amazing things from like everyone uh this is the la roche posay entheos 50 mineral sunscreen ultra light sunscreen fluid okay mineral sunscreen bro this [ __ ] is straight up just white paint in a bottle like the cast that it puts on your skin is insane i think one of the reasons that i tried this was because and it's expensive um was because my at the time my um ulta md uv clear was just not quite hydrating enough and people were like suggesting this but i'm telling and it's very lightweight feeling but i'm telling you like when i put it on no matter how much i blend it in it just leaves like this insane white cast i don't know if it's like necessarily that obvious here but um when you put it on your face it's just like oh my god like so bad so i don't know how anyone who because i'm white i don't know how anyone can use this and just be like walking around with it unless you read that kind of thing really doesn't bother you but i'm not trying to look like pasty you know um so unfortunately like i just haven't used it it's kind of annoying it's also one of those things where like i've had some chemical sunscreens that haven't really worked for my face but i can use them on like my legs and my arms and stuff you know but this is just like such a white cast it's also like very greasy like just very like wet and greasy uh so i don't really understand why people like it so much it was very confusing to me uh because a lot of people suggested it because my skin had been dry and even though like my skin was so dry like just soaking up at all the moisture like it just needed it even that was just like too much like it was just ridiculous so it didn't work for me i don't i would say the white cast alone makes it like unusable in my opinion uh i guess it would be fine if you're going to be wearing makeup on top of it but i would really love to hear from you if you do use this and you love it can you please explain to me why because i don't get it um another sunscreen since we're on the subject of sunscreens was the kinship what is this called self-reflect probiotic moisturizing sunscreen this one i thought was going to be amazing i was so excited about it because it contains oat extract so it's great for sensitive skin uh it's supposed to be moisturizing my skin was really dry and it has kind of like a nice soft oaty scent yeah it kind of just smells like oatmeal i don't know i liked it i thought it would be like nice and soothing uh it did leave like a little bit of a pink cast i guess i can show you in case but i don't recommend this obviously um and we'll get to why but it does leave like a little bit of a pink cast but i really liked the consistency i liked the overall um like finish of it like it really blends blends in and maybe it leaves a tiny bit of a cap but like not really you know and it was nice and hydrating yeah i really like that scent but when i switched to it and i started using it more regularly i noticed tiny like bumps it looked like texture i don't know if it was what's that called not pilling oh my god i just forgot milia milia i don't know if that's exactly what it was but it was literally all over my face like as soon as i started using it i got tiny bumps all over my face like my my whole skin texture was just like completely changed i stopped using it it went away and i was like [ __ ] so unfortunately i can't recommend this i was really excited about it i really wanted to love it uh if you have it and you love it please let me know um like i mean i probably know why i would rather hear i guess from the people who have had a similar experience because i was just like so disappointed and i'm not entirely sure what it was that irritated my skin but kinship sorry loved loved the idea that didn't work um okay next up this is the last skincare product this is the youth to the people superfood air whip moisturizer cream i really wanted to love this i was looking i was on the hunt for like lightweight moisturizing things that weren't going to pill with my sunscreen i don't know why i've heard this about things with hyaluronic acid but it's a little confusing i feel like there needs to be a little bit more um instructions when it comes to this stuff so hyaluronic acid acid is and i'm not at all an expert i'm just like trying to remember all the things that i learned from like dr dre and dr lee and like james welsh and people um hyaluronic acid is a humectant right so it like draws in moisture so i believe if you are using it as like a serum then it's good but you want to be putting like a moisturizer or something a little bit heavier on top so i didn't really know that at this point when i bought it but it is marketed as a moisturizer so i assumed that i could just use it as like a moisturizer and then going with like my sunscreen and i don't know if people can do that if like any of you have this and you love it uh i really wanted to love it because it has such like a nice like watery consistency no scent love that it feels like nice and cooling and comfy um just to show you like it's just like oh you know oh i love that kind of thing it feels so nice but i i noticed that when i was using it it was drying my skin out like crazy like i would put it on and it it felt like it was removing moisture from my skin um so i don't know if like i was just doing things wrong if i needed to seal it with something else but i didn't want to have a two-step system i wanted to have like just a moisturizer that was going to moisturize that wasn't going to be like too heavy so unfortunately it just didn't work for me again if you have it and you love it please let me know how you use it and if the things that i said even make sense because i'm definitely not a skincare expert but i do feel like i've learned some things thankfully um okay next up is a perfume so this is twilly by hermes uh oh ginger what the [ __ ] why did i even buy this so i went through a period where well recently i've realized that like my perfect like why am i buying full-size perfumes because i don't go through them you know tjust kind of sit there i end up getting
