How To Tightline Your Eyes W/ No Transfer
guys welcome back to my channel I'm Alex if you're new uh today I wanted to talk about tight lining your lash line I've received a lot of complaints from people about how talways get transfer when ttry to tightline I'm gonna try to help you today number one you want a waterproof eyeliner pencil okay the one that I have been using and loving is by give Beauty this is waterproof it's 24 hour wear it's super creamy which is really nice oh it's not uh oh I need to sharpen this it's not like it doesn't pull you see how nicely that goes down nice and creamy it's blendable you can blend it out but once it sets it sets it's done okay if you're using like a regular old core Coral coal liner to tightline your eyes it's probably going to bleed uh it's not gonna set so you need something that's going to set this is one that I would suggest Makeup Forever has really good ones but personally I don't think that tstay as creamy as this one so you know but that is number one find yourself a nice waterproof eyeliner next up is the technique you can't just go straight in with the pencil you just can't we're gonna get all up in here up in here we're gonna get all up here next you need a tiny brush tiny little brush so I have these two this one this one oh this this one this one is from Elf Cosmetics it's the flat eyeliner brush because you just want it to be like thin enough but we'll also like pick up enough product this one's from Sigma this is from the Samantha collection it's just a tiny little eyeliner brush you can see it's thinner it's angled just like a little bit more Precision especially if you have a hard time with detail rather than just going straight in with your pencil you want to pick up the product so I'm just going to pick up that product you do not want to think in terms of this line sorry if this is gross for a lot of you you do not want to think in terms of this line right here at all you want to think in terms of the absolute base of your lashes okay I'm going to focus this right at the base of the lashes think like you're painting the base of your lashes because your mascara can't get there or something you also don't have to pull but it's easier to see I'm just trying to show you I'm going to press this just wiggling it at the base of my lashes so I am not touching that waterline I am just wiggling this at the base of the lashes if anything think about like going upward not down at all you can kind of like press if you already have your eye makeup on then just like widen your eyes and kind of like if you're going here if you're going if you're working on the outer part of your eye then you want to look inward so you're not accidentally hitting your iris I'm just brush like wiggle it the base of those lashes and then what if you want to do the inner part same thing you want to turn your head this way so you're not hitting that Iris okay can you see the difference so we have a nice tight line you can see that definition along my lash line that I don't have here it's just kind of like a little bit more of a line but when I look down when I look up you don't see it now we're going to get real close and personal and it's not fully you can see it's not fully on my water line it's just pressed right up against those lashes so it's not like sitting on my waterline there have been times when I've just used like a regular old pencil and rather than doing the brush I've just been kind of like pressing it up against that like upper water line that inner rim of the eye and I always end up getting transfer because it's just on there it's not pressed up against my lashes alright guys so that is how I tightline with no transfer I will link my favorite products down below I'll try to find some drugstore waterproof eyeliners but the main thing to consider is that you want waterproof you want something that is going to set um and I don't recommend using any kind of a liquid because a liquid is just going to be a lot easier to like bleed into your eyes I'm just gonna so you don't want to mess with that you know you want to find something that is a like a nice eyeliner stick stick sure stick we'll call it a stick and again I will link my favorite brushes down below you might need something a little bit smaller if your eyes are smaller or if you just feel like this gets in the way maybe you hit your eye too easily something like this might be a little bit easier uh all right guys I hope this was helpful let me know if there are any like quick tips or techniques that you're having a hard time with I can film you know if I know how to do it uh let me know what you want to see next if you liked it subscribe and give it a thumbs up and all the things and I will see you soon bye-bye
