How To Make Your Eye Colour Pop | Makeup For Your Eyes
everyone welcome back to the makeup chair today we're talking All About Eyes I want to talk you guys through how to create this really easy eye makeup look but also how you can then adapt it to work with your eye color I was lucky enough to get my hands on all 11 trios from number seven they've reformulated their eyeshadows and the color range is beautiful but before we talk about which Trio is going to work for you I want to show you guys how to use the trios in the super easy ey makeup look so I applied a little bit of concealer and I did my eyebrows and now we're going to start off with this which is the eyes shadow primer primer this is part of the stay perfect range this is going to do two things give our eyes Shadow something to hold on to but also help it last longer so take a very small amount on my finger and then I apply it using my ring finger all across the lid taking a little bit of powder I'm just going to set that all in place and now our eyelids are prepped and ready for eyeshadow but keep that eyeshadow primer handy because we will be using it again in a second so now I'm switching to a slightly smaller blending brush and taking the Deep Purple I'm going to apply it on the tip tip of the brush applying a little bit of pressure and then holding the brush in the center of the handle I want you guys to work this from the outer corner to the inner Corner keeping it quite low to start with so we're pushing upwards like this just really pack that eyes Shadow on there and we're applying this into the crease above the eyelid so basically everything that can be seen while the Eyes Are Open that's where we're going to apply this but we're only going up about the halfway point between the brows and the lid taking a slightly larger blending brush and there's nothing on this we're we're going to blend this over and back keeping the handle quite high up just to blend out the edges sometimes you don't need to actually blend the eye shadow you just need to blend the very edges so we're just going around here taking that ey shadow primer again we're going to use a flat brush and we're going to coat the inner third to Inner half of the lid and what this will do is just smooth out the lid and give us a nice sharp finish while the primer is still slightly damp I'm going to set it in place with this beautiful Shimmer and you want to hold the brush quite far up on the handle and apply a little extra pressure just packing this onto the lid on the outer third of the eye I want you to take a little bit more of that purple but this time we're going to apply it with a flat brush and really pack it on this outer third this will give us a little bit more depth of color and it just proves how an ey Shadow can look so different just by the application so we've got nice Deep Purple here and then very soft purple in that crease now we're going to go in with eyeliner so I'm going to be using the stay precise eyeliner this is also by number seven and liner is totally optional but I do think that it adds quite a bit to this look so you're going to start by lining really close to the inner corner and then work your way across that lash line and you can make this as thick or as thin as you like I've just gone from a slightly thinner line all the way out to slightly thicker I'm also going to wing this out so instead of working this way I'm going to flip my hand and work down taking the Lash impact lash primer I'm going to coat my upper and lower lashes and then I'm going to take the midnight lash mascara this is for volume so I'm just doing little wiggling motions to get that gorgeous volume taking a pencil brush and that highlighter shade run this along the edge of the tear duct area now you can leave the lower lid clear it depends on the look that you want all you need to do is to take that purple eyeshadow using that same flat brush from earlier and work this right underneath the lashes starting on the outer Corner then I take a little bit of that Shimmer and I just apply this from the outer half to the inner corner and then just go ahead and clear up any Fallout underneath your eyes and finish with the rest of your makeup and that is how to use the warm nude so this works on lots of different eye colors it's also available in the cool so both the warm and the cool nude work on all eye colors but let's talk through the other palettes to find out what's going to make your eye color pop so I asked you guys on Instagram to talk through exactly what eye colors that you have we had the main ones which were brown green blue but then we also had black gray and Hazel now what I tend to do with those is I put them into the other category and that way you can still make the tones within your eyes pop so whether you have hazel green eyes gray blue eyes black eyes with caramel tones or gray tones pick out what colors you really want to make pop and then go for the opposite so let's start off with brown eyes so we have Smoky blue which has this beautiful Rich blue you can even use this with a damp brush and apply it as a liner or you can try high seas which is a little bit more muted and actually navies work great on lots of different eye colors because it really makes the white of your eye stand out a little bit more and then for blue eyes we're going to go for the opposite which is brown so you basically want to go for all of those brown warm Golden Tones this will really make them pop so whether you have gray blue eyes or you have true blue eyes or light blue eyes you just want to decide how deep or how light you want to go with your Browns but one of my absolute favorite is a smokey eye now this works on every eye color but two in particular are my two favorites really light blue eyes and then black eyes and I know what you're thinking how can you put black eyes and then a black smokey eye isn't it just going to be over the top no it actually works to bring out the caramel tones within your eyes or the Navy tones within your eyes because what it does is it creates like a halo around the eyes that makes any tones in there pop so I would start off with the smoky gray and then finish off with the bronze in the crease and this will definitely bring out those tones in the eyes now for green eyes I love the look that we have on today this is going to really bring out those tones especially if there's Golden Tones in there now if you're a true green you actually want to go for more pinky blush tones so something like these palettes will work great for that this is the pink Blossom and rose gold these will actually bring out those gorgeous rich green colors in your eyes this also works on gray eyes as well to make them pop a little bit more and it also works on hazel eyes if you want to bring out that green tone and I actually love using green on green eyes this is a gorgeous green palette and it's the emerald stone and this works on every eye color the only first you want to be careful of is if you
