How to Hide Facial Hair with Makeup | Makeup Tips for Coverage
hi everyone welcome back to another Monday makeup lesson almost daily at this stage I get emails about how to apply makeup when you have a little bit of that kind of hairiness on the skin and every woman has it I'm going to show you how to make sure that all those little hairs are lying flat against the skin so it looks a little bit less obvious and this also works if you have flakiness and you have little flakes of dry skin kind of flaking upwards that you also want to lie flat against your skin these techniques and products should hopefully help you guys so let's get started first thing that you want to do is to apply a moisturizer you want to apply your moisturizer in the direction of the hair growth so have a look really close up to the hairs and see what direction they're going in and just wipe over them to make sure that tare lying flat one of my favorite tips is to use a setting spray this is like hair spray but for your face so it's going to make sure that all those hairs are lying flat now if you don't want to wear makeup I suggest spraying your face with this then using your hands to wipe down all of those little hairs and twill just sit there for the rest of the day and twill not budge but this also works underneath and on top of your makeup choose a foundation with a satin or a powder finish the next important step is to pick the right tool some brushes can actually emphasize and lift the hairs and flakes off the skin but if you're using a flat brush this can paint down the skin and just wipe all the way down keeping those hairs and flakes flat against the skin pick up a small amount of foundation less is more if you have stuff to conceal do that first then wipe off the excess of the foundation and start to apply it onto the skin work in downward Strokes in the direction of the hair growth work from the center of the face all the way to the jawline in a nice smooth stroke allow the foundation some time to set and you can go back over with your spray to make sure that the hairs are staying flat for the rest of the day if you want to set with a powder make sure you load up the brush tap off the excess and then work again in downward Strokes you can Pat onto the skin if you'd like but always finish off with a smooth downward stroke to make sure all those hairs are lying flat I really hope that this technique has helped you guys out I know for my own self that my hairs are just lying super super flat against the skin so I will see you guys in another Monday makeup lesson if you like to request one just leave a comment and I will see you next time bye so you've just finished off your makeup for the day when disaster strikes suddenly your eyelash curler plucks out your eyelashes
