How To Apply Mineral Foundation
today's Monday makeup lesson is how to apply mineral loose Foundation this is perfect for those with sensitive skin types so let's get started I'm starting off with a primer I've already moisturized my skin and a primer is just an extra step apply a p size amount and spread evenly over the skin and make sure the skin is dry to the touch before you move on next I'm using a cream concealer to cover up any discoloration on the skin you can also try a mineral loose concealer but I prefer using liquids and creams instead to find the right shade of foundation Swatch three possible Shades and leave for 30 seconds to oxidize the shade that disappears like the one in the middle here is the right shade to use tap the foundation into the lid or onto a palette a small amount goes a long way I'm using this retractable brush to apply this and that way you can control how much coverage you want I want full coverage so I'm sliding the brush down just a few CM from the top I'm going to press this into the foundation to pick it up open the brush slightly and tap off the excess then closing the brush up to the top again I'm going to press and sweep this over the face if you've got good skin and want light coverage open the brush fully and swirl this over the skin instead otherwise keep pressing and sweeping over the skin to apply pigment all over the great thing about minerals is that even with full coverage it still allows your skin to breathe when you go over the areas that you've used any creams make sure to Pat lightly and this will set whatever is underneath and prevent it from moving around and becoming cakey to finish open the brush fully and sweep down the face this will remove excess powder that's sitting on the skin but it'll also make sure that the little hairs on the skin are lying flat and you can see the difference from the left and the right it's a very natural coverage and it just makes sure that my face matches my neck and chest and that's the finished look to check out more Monday makeup lessons just check the link here
