How To Apply Blush Contour & Highlight | One Brush Application
everyone welcome back to a Monday makeup lesson today I want to show you guys a really easy way to use one brush for your contour highlight blush and sharpening up your contour as well last week I showed you guys how to clean brushes and the amount of people that said cleaning brushes is the most annoying thing and I'm right there with you even though that technique does work a lot easier and I go through it a lot faster but still I hate cleaning brushes so I wanted to show you guys how to use one brush for so many different things so you only have to clean one brush it's a super easy technique but you have to follow it in the steps that I talked about otherwise it won't work for you so let's get started so you will need a blush brush and a contour palette your gonna start off with your contour that's the most important thing start with your contour I'm using the lightest shade from this palette the lightest contour shade and I'm just gonna load up the tips of the brush and then you want to work this in the hollow of the cheek bones now what I've been doing lately is I've been working on the hollow and then I've been kind of really brushing it upward so it's a little bit higher than the hollow of the cheeks and that just emphasizes the cheekbones a little bit more and then I also a work across the top of the forehead to balance it out it's really important if you're doing heavy contour to balance the top and the bottom because otherwise it just looks kind of dirty so then also work along your jaw line as well and then even blend down your neck you then want to clean off your brush so all you want to do is just to brush it off on the back of your hand because there shouldn't be too much product on there most of it should be on your face so you're just gonna brush it off like this then I want you guys to go into the matte shade the matte light shade or even if we with translucent powder just pop a little bit of that on the top of the brush and then brush it off use whatever is leftover to go and sharpen up your contour you can also then work this underneath the eyes and then through the center of the face as well so our brush is gonna be pretty clean by now we've just had a little bit that light powder and now we can go in with our highlighter so this is like a shimmering version of that basically the reason we don't apply these highlighters first because really think about it's lighter you should apply it first but the reason we don't do that is because we don't want our contour to have any shimmer in it and you can work this highlighter then through the center of the face Cupid's bow anywhere where you want to add a little bit shy into your skin and then you can apply your blush but you have to do your blush last like no matter what you're doing your blush should be last anyway but you definitely want to do if you're just applying it with one brush and what I like to do is use a mixture of both of these shades in here so one of them is more peachy then one of them is pink and then make sure the both of them works really well together and then just Pat that on the apples of the cheeks and blend upwards because it doesn't really matter if there's a bit of contour and there's a bit of highlighter and your blush will just help it blend really nicely but you don't want it the other way around and this brush is the f40 one but there's so many different brushes that you can do this with I'll actually put some of my favorites in the description box and if there's any other brushes that you'd like to learn how to use or learn how to multitask with definitely let me know check out the videos on the screen now that you might have a mist and I will see you guys on Friday along the joy the joy line the jewel line along the edge oh my god I can see the jewel line the jeweller
