Golden Smokey Eye | Maybelline The Nudes | Giveaway
I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at the new Maybelline the nudes palette so I created this golden smokey eye which I'm calling the Sinead let's get started on creating this easy but glamorous look starting with foundation I'm applying a light even layer all over the skin blend it from the center of your face outwards towards your hairline next I'm using the fit me foundation stick in a shade darker than my foundation and I'm using this to contour my cheeks the edge of my nose and my forehead simply blend this out with your foundation brush or your fingertips for a natural finish I'm using a concealer one shade lighter than my skin to highlight underneath my eyes and down my nose once again lend this out with your foundation brush or fingertips our blush I'm using this gorgeous creamy peach blush and I'm applying this on the apples of my cheeks and blending upwards along my cheekbone I'm setting this all in place with my favorite setting powder for the brows I'm lightly filling them in with a brow pencil and I'm finishing off with a tinted brow gel to hold the shape now for the fun part the eyes I'm mostly using these three eyeshadows starting off with the warm gold I'm applying this all over the lips can you see how creamy these eyeshadows are it glides on like a cream it is so smooth apply this right from the lash line up towards the crease taking the Mac taupe eyeshadow I'm using this to soften the edges of the gold in the crease blend this over and back till you get a soft smoky effect use the slightly darker taupe shade to add more depth to this look blend this over and back in the crease again I'm also using this matte eyeshadow underneath my eyes right by the lashes pull this slightly upwards on the after corner to create an extension of the lower lash line then use the matte black eyeshadow from this palette to define the upper lash line pushing right at the lashes finish with mascara and I also added some false eyelashes for extra drama on the lips I'm keeping it nude so the focus is still on the eyes I'm topping this with baby lips which smells amazing I finished by adding a touch of the creamy pearl eyeshadow on the inner corner of the eye to catch the light and also to highlight underneath the brows and that's the look complete you see my nude look now I dare you to do nude make sure to check out my Instagram for a chance to win a new toilet for yourself
