it's scary it is scary it took me at least seven months of denying its existence and then there i was being like transition if i were to do it i always told my sister this is like i would just do like tock right now when you pick up the phone when someone's calling you how do you hold the phone i mean like this you know like is that really how you do it yep this is what i do that's because i'm a even maybe younger and when i was 11 and 12 i actually came up with all of my designs that i wanted to do previous like i had it then and for years i was like i need to do this and i had all these ideas in my head i drew up every single thing all the names everything and then morphe reached out and twere like we'd love to collaborate and it was just like it felt so right and it felt like the perfect timing and i don't know tjust made like my dream collection like i literally cried so much in the process because it was just like my biggest dream came to life and i love makeup more than anything in the world and it's like one of my favorite ways to express myself do you love makeup more than dancing no it's it's second first okay okay i started doing my own makeup when i was six years old for dance competitions so i've literally you did it all by yourself yeah so i started competing when i was four and my mom was doing my makeup and i was like oh my gosh this is terrible like my mom was putting my eyelashes in my crease like like i was like i could not deal with it right so my mom was like when i was six i literally was like okay i'm doing everything i did my lashes when i was six everything by myself so would you say your your earliest makeup memory is at the at the dan shows at the competitions doing your own face or your mom doing it no literally like i just remember getting ready in like a vanity every day at competition or every week and just like being such a ritual for me and something that i enjoy so much and something that i took so much pride in like i've loved it so much and it's been such a way to express my creativity and i know you feel the same way so yeah it's amazing it's crazy like people probably think like how can makeup be there for you and be so much for you but i don't even know how to explain it like it's just well you don't have to explain to me because i know exactly what you're talking about it's like this to me it's almost like recharging and like kind of you know finding your inner self a bit more it's like it's like truly finding out what makes you feel more confident or happier or it's it's such an amazing thing it's not just like brushing on a layer of fun it's so much more so much more and the good thing is it's like it's so much fun to play that you can just take it off at the end of the day you know it's not something exactly i'm dipping into your palette i'm dipping into and i wanted to challenge myself a little bit more because when i think of maddie ziegler i think of pure confident not trying too hard
