Duuuude Makeup Can Change Your Whole Face
okay you guys we're doing something crazy today it's all coming together so i know this has been requested a lot so we're gonna do it just before we get started i already have my foundation and a little bit of color corrector on today we are going to be combining all of the dude videos basically i'm going to show you one side of my face the way that i do my makeup and the whole other side i'm talking concealer contour bronzer blush eyeshadow eyebrows lips everything we're going to do the whole face and i'm going to show you how different it makes my whole face look so i think i'm going to do this side of my face the way that i do my makeup and then this side is going to be the side that we do differently we're going to start off with um eyebrows i'm actually going to use this new brow pencil from house labs this is the edge precision brow pencil this is in the shade ash brown and i'm going to use this to sketch out my brow shape so this is the side that i you know do my brows normal so i'm just going to sketch underneath and kind of follow this shape you know i like to keep it a little bit more straight then very lightly sketching the top and then just a little bit more for the tail but that's the general shape that i like for that brow if you're new to my channel i finish my brows later so this is basically just to sketch out the shape for this brow i'm going to follow the shape of this brow not try to match it to my other one and i'm basically just going to line it the way it is i'm going to go in with a slightly heavier hand and i'm going to do this throughout the entire brow so now i'm going to start off up here following the shape so accentuating the arch there and all the way to the front filling in that square filling it a lot more i'm just gonna go in with a little bit of concealer and clean up the bottom so with this one just kind of cleaning up the bottom of that brow but i'm not taking it all the way up i don't want it to look super sharp and i want to keep it a little softer a little more around blending that down and i'm not going to touch the top for this brow doing a similar thing just following that line and then i'm going to do the top so we're going to sharpen it up a little bit more and this is really going to accentuate that shape all right so that's how we're going to start off with brows so now we're going to do concealer placement for this side of my face this is how i like to do my concealer placement now so i like to brighten that area of my nose i like to basically brighten like right there right in here this is hard to do on like half your face and then i like to highlight this area here and then my chin for this side i'm going to focus the product here um and then i'm also going to this i'll go a little heavier maybe bring it up a little and then i'm going to do here as well so underneath my cheekbone i'm going to blend that out with my lc cosmetics velvet sponge it's so hard to do it on one side like a full face you know i haven't done one of these videos in a while so just focusing it here it's gonna be such a long video um i like to brighten up this area side of my nose so this helps to make my nose look a little bit smaller which makes it look a little bit more narrow it makes this part of my nose look a little bit more flush with my cheek and under eye area i like to correct the redness around my nose and also plump up this area of my smile line i like to highlight my high cheekbone kind of accentuate the lift of that cheekbone this is not for everyone do not be fooled by those videos so i'm placing the majority of the product here so that this is the area that is being highlighted the most and then i'm going to take whatever is left over and bring it underneath my eyes kind of blending into my color corrector to conceal those dark circles but i want the majority of the highlighting to be up high on my cheekbone i'm going to go back in with my foundation sponge and blend around the edges and then for my chin i just like to highlight this little area that's very difficult to do on one side of your chin so for this i'm going to take this side i'm going to take it above my eyebrows i'm really highlighting the whole forehead being a little bit more sloppy with like where my application is i'm going to blend this because i'm going to be really accentuating that contour when i put it down so i'm really highlighting this part of my jaw and then for underneath my eyes i'm taking it directly underneath my eyes so kind of just doing that like triangle shape i'll be honest i'm like literally fighting the urge to like take it where i actually take it and not not do it the way that i wouldn't it's very funny and you know what [ __ ] it on this side i'm going to take it all the way up to my creases because people always yell at me about why i don't do that let me just show you why so focusing the product more this area and then around the edges blending with my sponge now for contour i'm going to be using my kkw beauty contour stick i guess just so that you can see like how i really draw it out so kkw beauty contour stick light medium just my favorite contour shade pop a little in there and bring my forehead down a little bit i'm going to go under my jaw line to push that back i'm going to draw this up and follow follow that shape into my contour i'm going to contour underneath my lip above my lip little mustache and right here and then for my nose i'm going to bring this up a little bit bring this in a little and then just right there to kind of help correct that little bump now for this side i'm going to line my jaw okay so i'm drawing a line on my jawline i'm going to bring it up here i'm going to scoop this around my cheek so we're creating a more round shape over here and then for my nose i'm going to take this all the way down the side feels so wrong i'm using this little wet and wild brush this is the p77 i'm just going to start blending that out now i quickly want to say that i've been seeing a lot one of the reasons that i wanted to kind of like tackle this video and um go back into my dude series is because i was watching a video that katie posted formerly known as lustrelux and she brought up the fact that there are a lot of those videos going around that are like talking about how you should place your blush up higher on your cheekbone and not on the apples of your cheek and she literally said have you seen those videos where like it looks better to do this and i was like that's so [ __ ] up because not her but the videos that are going around are telling people that it looks better on everyone to do that that's not the case it has everything to do with your face shape now i want to show you the reason that i do my makeup like this on this side is because it's flattering on my face shape this isn't going to be flattering on my face shape this motion right here is gonna look [ __ ] bomb probably on chrissy teigen it's gonn
