Dude Eyeliner Changes Your Whole Face

so i know that a lot of people requested this video uh so which is why you know i'm doing it because we're continuing the dude series uh but i did want to say quickly that century did do a video at least very similar to this uh like a month ago i specifically didn't watch it because i didn't want to like be influenced by it at all so that there wasn't like a bunch of crossover but there probably will be because i believe the concept is pretty much the same so i can link it down below if you're interested she's awesome she's been doing a lot of these kinds of videos as well so if you're looking for more like comparison videos or like things that will uh kind of shed a little bit more light on how you should do be doing like your makeup to fit your face check her out she's awesome we also don't look us like even a little bit alike so if you're looking for like a different face shape to see this kind of difference anyway i'll link her down below snitchy so she's so cool all those words just like fell out of my mouth anyway i'm going to be showing you how eyeliner changes your face which it obviously does i mean mostly your eyes you know what i mean i'm going to be using two different liners one is drugstore and the other one is by house labs so i was gonna use my pat mcgrath one but i can't find it so house labs uh this is probably the only house labs product that i actually really like uh this is their eye liner in the shade punk which is just black so it's a felt tipped liner which is what i prefer i like felt tipped liners i don't know just compared to like gel or like the ones with the little bristles these are my favorite uh and then the second one is the l'oreal paris infallible super slim liquid liner in black again same kind of deal felt tipped uh they're actually really similar like tbasically look exactly the same um so on the right yeah this one is l'oreal and this one is uh house labs literally look exactly the same like goddamn tlook exactly the same okay anyway so let's make this side more round so i'm gonna do kind of a short little like cat wing on this side taking it at the bottom of my eye and i'm going to kind of like keep it a little shorter and then swoop it up just like that just like a little guy you know and then starting at the beginning of my eye i'm going to kind of follow the natural shape so i'm just dragging my eyeliner all the way like up a little bit making it a little bit more of like a statement kind of wing so a little bit thicker and then i'm gonna connect it there which it's very thick so this is just kind of like a simple winged liner it's i mean maybe it's long for some people it's a little bit more short for me i like to keep things a little bit tighter a little more like cat eye now for this side i'm going to keep it a lot tighter so what i'm going to do is i'm going to start at just above the end of my eye so rather than going from like here i'm gonna start like a little bit above it so like right up here and i'm going to just barely above it you can see it's like just above the actual like bottom of my eye and then i'm gonna just kind of sketch it a little straighter and slightly longer this eyeliner might be a little dry rather than starting this like when i drag it back rather than starting it on like at like the very outer part i'm gonna bring it in a little bit more and then bring it to like here so i started in a little bit more which keeps this nice and like crisp and thin you want to make sure you're looking down for this just connecting it like that so i'm kind of just creating like this straight line right to like i don't know just outside my people this eyeliner is a little bit dry okay i'm actually going to switch because um i think this guy is really old and i can't it's too dry so i'm going to switch back to the house labs one now you can stop it like that you know and just kind of use it to like elongate your eye or you can go in and kind of like just follow the line of your eye but you just it's kind of like tight lining a little bit you know so that's kind of sometimes what i like to do just so that it looks like more a little bit more cohesive i'll just take like the tip of the eyeliner brush and kind of dot it doesn't look so crazy that looks so crazy it's a big difference this side is a little bit more like classic kind of like pin up a little shorter you know it sort of accentuates like a rounder eye look this is obviously a lot more like slender kind of like the fox eye trend very like bella hadid now i just want to show you how adding a little bit to your waterline can like accentuate this look so for this i'm going to use the make forever aqua resist color pencil in the shade graphite which i believe is black looks black so for this side i'm going to keep with this whole like situation and we're going to like keep the eyes nice and tight so i'm going to place it in my waterline and then when you get to the when i get to the inner corner i'm gonna kind of like bring it out and down just a little bit to extend that inner corner bringing the dark liner up into the waterline closes the eye even more now for this side what i'm going to do is start off at the outer corner i'm not going to follow my lash line so i'm not going to bring it into the waterline and i'm only going to take it about that way and then i'm going to use a brush and blend it isn't that crazy for some of you this might be like kind of basic but just to show you the massive difference that eyeliner can make particularly winged liner obviously but depending on where you place it how you blend it putting on your eye shape if you have hooded eyes and you want it to be a little bit more like snatched it looks so crazy it makes
