Doing Little Mix Jade’s Makeup!

guys it's me nikki and jane welcome to the channel i'm so excited i am so excited because i have been a fan for so long and i know you are a makeup lover i love it and not only did i come out with a beauty bae palette but so did you please introduce us to your child this is the jade beauty bee palette it has 42 shades she got 42 shades look at me look at me beauty bae what's going on you don't ask you don't get it twere literally like how many colors what you want and i just said yes everything and so here we are oh my god look at that and all the colors you've got shimmers you've got bright colors you've got your nudes you've got your favorite color green in there [Laughter] the packaging looks absolutely stunning i want to hear all about this palette but before we get to this one mm-hmm let's do a base oh please do absolutely gagging for it honestly sort me out all right so um if you're excited we're excited and let's get glam okay now i'm going to get my ugly posing in i'm going to do your makeup is cool i'm like let's work before we started filming we already primed using the nimya where it all starts cream i'm really bad i don't always use primer i know i know and now i know that you say what is it um it's a crime to not not to prime as a crime yes thank you for this because actually it's bloody amazing it smells good huh look at the shine look at the glow oh yeah i feel fun so now to hydrate the under eyes we're using the cooling ice stick please do should just love a bag this one whenever i'm tired my eyes really tell me that tare a lot of people like putting this on the under eyes too to prevent any creases oh from the concealer so jade came in she was like do you want to use my foundation i was like yeah of course she walks in with the face and body i'm like that's what i use for my toes so like covering one thing i'm really like not the best at is foundation and bass like i hate doing my own bass you know in my whole 28 years on this earth i've still not nailed it where does your fascination with makeup come from i feel like everyone says it's usually like their mom my mum used to have like the avon lady knock on a door i'd come in and they'd have a little catalog of makeup and i'd sit there and like my mom had this little makeup bag and i still remember like the smell of it and everything whatever she'd go out i'd be like having a little look through oh there's a catalog and you know when i was little what's going on here um so a little trick is for more coverage is to dry your foundation a bit and this helps i used to love like drag queens right for me when i was going holiday with my family we'd go and watch all the drag queens and i'd be like fascinated i feel like a lot of um maker today especially like on tick tock and stuff is probably hugely inspired by drug queens or drug artists without them even realizing it makeup is inspired by direct makeup a lot wait where are you from have you heard of newcastle i do yes right next to there do you watch geordie shore i've seen it that is hilarious that's not the full representation of um geordie lights i've heard it it certainly is an insight i have to audition for geordie shore before i got put in little mix do you ever regret it no no i'm happy that i made it as a pop star yeah me too that was my calling what does your life look like on a day-to-day basis it's really different every day to be honest you know doing things like this obviously performing writing music hoarding do you ever have days off i do have days off but the thing with like being a pop star is you can't really escape being a pop star right you're always on on my day off i'm just you know you can't unfamous yourself as you know does it ever get to you sometimes if i'm like going through something or you know as i'm sure you've experienced before public scrutiny and in the press and all that malarkey which i feel like as an outsider i'm allowed to say this but i feel like especially here in the uk it can get rough it's quite relentless it's definitely settled down a bit um since when we first started 10 years ago well you were only 18 when you started yeah oh my god are there any years you liked the most i'd say like the glory days era was literally like the glory days that's when we released like shout out to my ex and touch shout out to my ex exactly with me it really was a moment what do you think is the biggest misconception about being a singer slash group star i think as women it's quite hard anyways in the pop industry yeah and as a girl band you know it did feel like we constantly had a point to prove of you know that we do write music and you know when we are sexualized it should be on our terms and also i think for girl bands as well you get given the kind of role model for women and labeled quite quickly which is very flattering but also there's a bit of pressure with that it's like not messing up at any point you know it's inevitable that we're all going to mess up along the way aren't we we can't be perfect yeah yeah what would you say is your biggest makeup mishap from the past oh christ where do i begin the first first i mean x factor in general was quite that's right you were an x factor yeah and on that show we were so young and i think the like team on the show were just so excited to have a girl by and then right anything twanted to experiment they're like pink yeah literally they're like these little four dolls let's do the most i had blue and purple hair and i thought it'd be good idea to do blue and purple eyebrows with that patchy matchy yeah it was it was giving i didn't actually know what it was given but it wasn't cute it was giving a lot yeah and my foundation was very like you know very thick one tonal i hadn't really discovered contour canvas okay this is the base foundation concealer powder brows okay so the next time you're shooting a music video yes no you want to be in it it's me oh i'd love that well not be in it i want to do your makeup oh yes please now we are diving into the chosen one okay so what i'm feeling for this look today i'm definitely the pink teletubby i love it and we're going to make you the luxe teletubby i don't know why i came over i'm feeling the reds and the warm tones because it just it will look so rich on your skin but this color right here sand danger dancer dancer oh so a sand dancer is actually someone from my hometown south shields we're called sun dancers okay that's how that made it in there okay we're going in with the uh beauty bay pr eye
