Dewy Glowing Foundation Tutorial | For Dry Skin

today's monday makeup lesson is a dewy finish foundation routine for all you dry skin girls out there just like me i like to start off with this refresher spray you spritz it onto the skin and wipe it off with a cotton pad it feels like a moisturizer but it works like a toner then i apply my spf this is a very lightweight spf so you might want to layer with your moisturizer over the top i also like to protect my lips with spf as well the first thing i use is my concealer this is the urban decay one it's really hydrating lightweight and it doesn't dry out the skin but it gives a lot of coverage then i grab my nyx wonder stick and use this to contour my face instead of using a powder later on you're going to look a little bit crazy but then you're going to grab your makeup sponge make sure it's nice and damp and you're going to blend out the concealer first i always start by blending out the concealer and this will just make sure i don't have to apply too much foundation later speaking of foundation this is the best ever it's sort of like a bb cream cc cream foundation all mixed into one it feels so hydrating on the skin and it's great for days when you're just feeling so tired and your skin is really dry i blend it all over my face use it to blend out that contour and it just looks flawless it's not the most long lasting foundation in the world but it still looks gorgeous then i'm going to grab my highlighter and blush i love this combination the blush is matte and then you have this beautiful shimmering highlighter i start by applying some of the highlighter on the top of my cheekbones and then i mix the highlighter in a little bit of the blush and apply it onto my apples of the cheeks and blend it upwards towards my ears i like to use the bottom of my sponge to make sure it's really blended and the final step is to set everything in place with a setting spray this is instead of using powder so you're going to keep that really dewy look on the skin and that's the finished look hopefully this helped some of you dry skin girls out there if you have any suggestions about what you like to use for your dry skin leave a comment or if you need more of a full coverage or a lighter coverage routine check out my two videos here and hopefully you'll find something you like
