Annnnnd I’m a Painting: Creative Makeup Art

guys uh i'm going to be turning myself into this painting that i found on pinterest i believe it's by the artist graphic designer sophie kappa um i am wearing uh colored contacts these are from desio uh i can't remember i think they're like rebel gray or something um i'm not gonna like go through all of the products that i'm using because like i don't know maybe i'll link them down below they're all products that you guys have seen before but it's mostly about like the technique i think um so obviously like you're not necessarily looking at the photo that i am recreating this whole time but i am um so when i like when i start by doing these looks i kind of treat it the way that i would like a typical makeup look so i start off obviously with like the base products um so obviously like foundation concealer kind of like laying in those planes just like i am right now with the contour so starting to lay in like kind of like mid-tone shadows uh and just making sure that i'm getting like the drawing and the shape the like initial shapes down to begin with so if you happen to be a painter or someone who draws then you know what i'm talking about it's pretty like i would say typical uh and also just the products that i like to use for these kinds of things depending on how what the look is i'm using like products that i use that i use like regularly you know like the fenty matchstick and amber all the brushes uh i guess i used like a different foundation this time but um yeah i don't know that's usually just because like when i mix stuff up i'm like [ __ ] it let's just like try something different you know these are truly i have to say and when i did that pull or like ask that question i guess in my like community tab a lot of you asked me to do more like creative looks and that was like probably one of the best answers that i could possibly get from you guys because this right here where i'm just like sitting and like essentially just painting my face is my favorite [ __ ] thing to do my like 100 my favorite [ __ ] thing to do like where i'm not talking through it or whatever um this part felt like sacrilege a little bit you know like putting down a little bit of concealer and then building it up with like [ __ ] red um oh it's so annoying i don't feel like going far away but my laptop is like whenever i like play a video all in one go it just like screams at me dude so this brush is new from smith uh well new to me anyway gabby used it on me when um she did my makeup that time and i was like i need to get that brush like i literally have like i think i have like one smith brush or something uh it's so good dude it's so good for like lots of things i feel like it's like kind of multi-purpose whatever anyway now i'm painting my eyes i'm using that house labs paint because it was so good i loved it and then i think this this one's about face i can't remember what it's called but it's the yellow one um the colors just like worked so perfectly for this look there's definitely like some things that i would change about this if i could go back and do it uh like i probably could have made my eyes look a little bit bigger and like i don't know certain things obviously like when it's a cartoon or not necessarily a cartoon but it's one when it's like a caricature i don't even know if that's what you would call it but it's a little bit hard to like completely change your face shape especially when you're using your like actual eyes and stuff yeah the nose was fun though um i was like cleaning black out of my nostrils for like kind of a while can you hear my laptop it's so loud i would love true truthfully like if you guys came across like i don't know artistic uh like i don't know paintings or drawings or whatever i don't know something that like you would want me to recreate into a makeup look uh like you could send that to me on honestly one of the best ways to uh to contact me is on twitter because like essentially nobody follows me on twitter which is really nice so if you do tweet me i'm gonna see it eventually because i don't really check it that often but i will see it eventually listen to how loud my laptop is is that very annoying i feel like that's gonna be really annoying like audio wise but whatever i kind of love doing these kinds of things because tlook like so crazy until the finished result you know which i guess i kind of felt that way when i did that like uh no foundation no concealer look recently i was like wow i look horrible until the very end of it we got there though um i've been using this house labs liner man this thing was on its last legs okay like it was done for um i was like really trying to squeeze out as much as i possibly could and it's kind of funny because like liquid liner you're like yeah dude like there's a million liquid liners but this one i kind of love it you know it was like the original one of the original like house labs launches the eyeliner i like the name and like even though it's just a felt tipped liner it's like pretty long which i i appreciate like a lot of the other ones are like really short whatever oh my god this is such a rant i'm just like sitting here like watching me turn myself into a cartoon essentially this would be a good halloween thing i feel like all of my videos are always like not in the on the right um not in the right season like they're always like this would have been really good for halloween maybe i'm like early or late i don't know this is another good liquid liner that i love but i like because i use it in so many of these artistic things that it ends up being like going over really heavy makeup so it kind of like ruins the actual product but i think this was from colourpop i can't remember what launch dude i wish i could keep up with colourpop because i love them but like the amount of stuff that tcome out with just makes it like i don't know because like like this is not available anymore you know what i mean probably so like if you see me wow a crow just flew so close to my window i thought it was going to hit it but it didn't uh uh like if i use it in a video i want to say like this is what i'm using but then if it's not available you guys can't [ __ ] get it you know so it seems like such a waste because it's like i'll get a comment and people will be like oh my god what was that like i need something like that and then it's like it's colourpop but it's no more you know whatever this actually kind of um made me think more about like how i want to do my eye makeup uh it's actually kind of i mean somebody asked me to wow that is a crazy face somebody asked me to do that like the two shadows like moving the two shadow colors around my eyes to kind of show like how it makes your eyes look different or whatever um this was actually sort of the impetus for that because i was thinking about how like placing that light color in between uh like around my nose bridge the top of my nose bridg
