A Very Glam Goth Makeup Tutorial For Youssss
wanted to do like goth glam um i feel like a lot of people have been asking me to do like grunge or goth so i figured it's a good time for it uh in honor of halloween we're gonna be starting off with our eyes because this is gonna be smoky yeah i'm also using pat mcgrath uh the number i almost said numbership mothership five also i would love feedback on the sound because to me when i'm speaking right now sounds a little echoey um so i'm i gotta get like sound panels or something but just let me know like what you think um or at least if this is tolerable for now so i'm gonna start off by priming my lids with the nars what's it called tinted eye primer tinted smudge proof eye base in light and i'm actually going to take a little bit of that on my lower lash line wow dude look at my dark circles you can tell that i haven't been sleeping and then i've been eating a lot of carbs and sugar and alcohol just because like the middle shade in the mothership palette this one is like kind of a jump you know like pretty dark i think i'm going to actually start off with something a little more cool toned since we're doing like a little more goth you know um so i'm going to start off with my wayne goss contour shade and i'm going to bring this like up above this is just going to like act as my transition shade and we're going to make it really smoky so i'm starting like just above my crease over here and then i'm going to bring it right up to my brow so majority of the color going here and then bringing it in here that's going to be the second darkest area and then whatever's left over just kind of like blending it to my brow all right i'm gonna use that same brush and i'm gonna go into that brown now this guy i wish i knew the names so it's like the um the lightest brown matte brown and i'm going to start off in my crease or just above my crease i'm going to bring that down so i'm not going to bring that like up to my brow i'm going to bring it downward toward the inner corner and so this is really just like following my eye socket and then kind of the same thing here like just pulling down at the outer corner so i'm just going in with a second layer of that just basically like building up that color the more you build up each shade it's gonna like it's definitely gonna help with blending i'm gonna grab the next darkest shade which is this matte brown um this is the wayne goss 20 brush and i'm going to use this to deepen up around that eye socket once again just like following like literally just pushing in around my eyeball so just kind of like following the natural eye socket bringing it right down to like the lower outer ends of the lower outer each outer corner of the eye i might like smoke it out even more later on like around this area but i don't have my foundation on yet so we'll come back to that i'm gonna go into this color now this like it's basically like a really really deep plum but you can build it up to look like black and i'm going to place this on the lid and the inner corner to begin with and then i'm slowly going to blend into those browns and i'm just kind of like i want to leave the um center of the lid blank but i'm just kind of slowly like blending into it a little bit because i'm going to go in with red in the center but i need something to like blend it into you know so there's no gaps and then i'm going to do the same thing on the outer corner i feel like does this not this whole area not look like ridiculously patchy to you these eyeshadows are really old so i don't know maybe this was a mistake whatever maybe i do need to break open my uh fresh mothership well we'll come back and blend that later on so for the center i'm going to go back in with a little bit of that nars primer just focusing it right in the middle i don't want to take it out too far but i really want the red to pop so just kind of like patting it out a little bit um pretty much just keeping my finger like where it is and then i'm using a clean finger to kind of like blend around the edges using my finger my ring finger i'm going to go into that red this one right here i'm gonna pat it right in the center okay and then i'm gonna take that small brush and that plum color again tapping off my brush and i'm just going to kind of like tap it around the edges of the red because i don't want to like completely cover up the plum shade i just want to kind of like diffuse the edge between the two colors and then just because i want like a lot of pop with that red i'm gonna pick up a little bit more on a brush tap it off and then oh where'd my thing go oh and then i'm gonna spritz it with um some oh i actually needed a different mist but i'm gonna use the all-nighter one from urban decay just literally just like one spritz and just pat right in the center for my waterline i want to use something like red um i think i'm going to use the colourpop cream gel liner in the shade joyride i'm going to take this all on my waterline and i'm going to drag it onto my lower lash line as well using that little whatever brush this is like a flat shader brush i'm going to grab the plum shade focusing on the tip of the brush and i'm going to place it on the outer and inner corner and i'm going to avoid the center i'm going to make sure that i'm blending it up to the upper lash line and then when i get up here i'm gonna kind of create like a wing shape with that shadow so i'm following that lower lash line and i'm going to leave it it doesn't have to be like perfectly blended because once again i don't have my foundation on so i can go in and you know fix any mistakes later when you're working with these kinds of shadows like really really dark pigments compared to your skin tone it's never a bad idea to do your eyes first because it can be really really risky to do like all of your face makeup and then have to you know worry about fallout or trying to remove it it almost always like blends with your foundation it ends up looking like really gray i'm going to take that same shade on the inner corner leaving that center open using this i don't know what this is oh it's a sigma brush sigma dream fluffy pencil i'm going to pick up the red tap it off and then i'm going to spritz it with my all-nighter i'm going to place that right in the center between those two shades wipe off my brush and then i'm just going to use that brush to kind of like buff the edges okay so i did like most of my base just because that's it's exactly the same as like any other time i've done my makeup recently the only difference is that i used pretty much all matte products and no powder but i left my cheeks because i wanted to try this milani palette this is the cheek kiss cream blush palette in sun kissed glow not 110 sunkissed glow um and there's actually some pretty like fall shades here so i'm actually think i think i'm gonna use this one right here i'm assuming this is shade one no this is just the ingredients t
