so I am a huge huge huge makeup lover but this is actually for my mom I really believe that she deserves a spotlight like all moms ooh but my mom really had like a rough time so Nikki can you please what we're doing okay nice to meet you to meet you let's sit down okay your lovely daughter has contacted us so tell me what's happening so my mom went see a beauty event like a couple of months ago and she got her makeup done by someone the next day she went to work and a lot of colleagues said that she really was beautiful I think that she really felt beautiful inside as well and I and I thought like when I saw the rescue advertisement from like okay that's it for her because she never really wears makeup no never no one like this so yeah I thought it would be very nice to do this because I mean who could do it better than you okay so I'm here to give you a little bit of a mom makeover now I've heard that something special has happened to you yes yeah last year I did a general checkup okay and then tdiscovered that I had breast cancer at that time I didn't mention it to my husband and my children because she was studying and she had her exams so then I kept my mouth and then I went back and then I had to tell it eventually to my husband yeah but we've kept it secret for the children until the exams were finished so that was a terrible time at the moment you are standing still in in life and you are really realizing that there are sometimes more important things than what we are fighting about respect at the period of surgery and you know radiation of anything but now I'm okay and I feeling very good so so not gonna lie this one hits close to home for me gonna give you a beautiful mom makeover but I hate to be no the bearer of bad news but I'm gonna have to send you away because we're gonna keep it a surprise I swear she's in good hands and I'm gonna take good care of her and we're gonna make it an unforgettable day for all of us all right it is time for the mom makeover does your daughter surprise you a lot like often like today does that happen a lot yeah it depends from time to time and it's nice to have some surprises in my life so and this is a special one now if you don't mind me asking can you take me to the period where you found out what was happening to your body what went through you I was astonished that it happened to me because I tried to be healthy I tried to take care of my food and my body yeah you're very aware oh yeah I do a lot of sports so you're just a very easy person yeah it was something that didn't match with me my brother passed away last year due to cancer for us it was hard because we kind of knew that there was a light at the end of the tunnel but we always thought what if he makes it is he gonna have that fear that it's gonna come back I don't want to think about it scare much but it's in my head it is there and I'm thinking about it now what the doctor said it was okay but I think maybe somewhere else it will strike but I don't want to fix myself I don't want to think because otherwise then you don't have alive anymore I tried to focus on my family on doing sports yeah oh nice things in my life keeping my mind simple things also just being together with the friends and everything yeah and try to enjoy a lot of nice things last year I did a lot of nice things and Claire and it was good for myself too yeah keep me flying yeah me strong if this really hits home for me and I just want to say thank you again yeah I know about your history yeah for letting us be here and for being so open and honest about it because so many women are going through this and I know that's why we have to talk about it also too we all know someone who's going through dealing with cancer and just thank you really welcome I hope a lot of women take it is it fine yeah do you have anything to say to the women at home to have a check-up to and generally basis and just go for it because of all
