A Super Random + Awkward GRWM: Fun Get Ready with Me
guys so i'm in such a rush i literally have 30 minutes ish about 40. okay so i am so la is like slightly open-ish and um my brother is coming up to uh meet up with me we're gonna go up to our old neighborhood in west hollywood because we haven't been up there in a really long time and just kind of like i don't know grab some uh coffee and like i don't know i just miss i miss that spot um so i'm going to get ready i literally have like 30 minutes and uh i mean i'm going to be wearing a mask so some of this is going to be all for naught but it's fine we're going to do it anyway so i'm going to start off with my tatcha sunscreen obviously because um it was very um cloudy this morning but it's like nice out now nice and sunny and i just kind of thought i don't know like especially when i'm in a rush this is like probably the most last minute video that i've ever filmed and i don't typically do videos like this but i thought like why not because honestly there's some of my favorite videos to watch i don't know if you guys like them i know um i feel like most people really enjoy my like educational videos where i'm like really teaching but sometimes it's just fun to like sit down and like do your makeup especially when you're in a rush it's like nice to see i think how people other people do it i do have a tendency when i'm in a rush to rush too much like chill out alex you have 30 minutes like that's actually a decent amount of time because like it's not like i'm doing a full face of makeup or anything you know i'm not gonna do anything like [ __ ] crazy uh i have a tendency to just like rush way too much and then i just i ruin everything so i just want to make sure i get the back of my neck since your girl's got short hair i'm also wearing a levi's um i think it's like a vintage levi's re-dyed uh sweatshirt and i spilled like toothpaste on it a little while back and i tried to get it out with um one of those like stain removers and uh it didn't come out and we're just gonna deal with it um okay so now i'm going to what should i do i'm gonna do a little bit of um prep for my under eye i'm just gonna use i'm not gonna do any color correcting today i don't think like i'm just whatever about it uh but i am gonna use the ilia eyeshadow primer on and on eyeshadow primer base and i'm literally just gonna place this all around my eyes it smells like rose but like very lightly and it has no color to it at all so i'm gonna place this under my eyes it might look like a lot it's probably because it is and above because i might throw down a little eyeshadow but like who knows we'll have to see what happens honestly just kind of helps prevent um my eyelids from getting oily which is just nice i'm yours so why do i always do this to myself i put my mirror so far away can't actually see what i'm doing and then i watch the video and i'm like everything's all messed up um okay so for my foundation i think i'm gonna use something that's like slightly more matte so for my foundation i was gonna use tom ford but i think i'm gonna use my elsie foundation this is in the shade cameo but i mix my green color corrector in with it to make it match a little bit better i can't get the top off of this uh okay so i'm going to use the sigma blend kabuki brush it's a little round guy and i think i'm just gonna like i don't usually do this kind of thing okay a little bit right there i just need to like get a little bit out and then i'm just gonna use this brush to very very lightly and evenly distribute it around my face just so i have a little bit of cohesive color and this is just one of my favorite formulas because it's very lightweight it doesn't feel like you're wearing foundation it's like a very natural finish and then i'm just going to add a tiny bit more like around here where i need some more color correction the ilia primer does have sparkles in it though which is like a little bit annoying i'm gonna go in with a little bit of my l'oreal infallible concealer this is ivory and i'm just gonna place it right here maybe a little around my nose i guess to blend that out because i didn't wet any sponges so but i'm also not trying to do like a full face of makeup so i'm going to focus this like here on my cheekbones kind of like how i do it and then just take whatever is left over and bring it a little bit into my dark circles but i'm gonna be wearing sunglasses and also a mask so i just don't want to put like a ton of product in the center of my face my boyfriend's making coffee it's such a loud machine so kind of like slowly bringing it up so i don't get it like stuck in my creases and i'm just going to use my foundation brush to blend around the edges i never use brushes but when i do it's for um like very natural looks um i'm gonna take a little bit more like foundation just spot conceal and hopefully that'll do something who knows probably not i'm just making a really quick coffee i know we could move out of here no she can stay there she probably wants to play with it you should have made her jump oh all right i'm applying my juvia's place uh white sands powder with the sigma i don't know some big ass brush i guess it's a bronzing brush i never use brushes what they're meant for um so i'm just evenly distributing that and then very lightly you know this makeup look is kind of inspired by that's the cat playing alana rama you guys know her uh what's her last name i can't actually remember but i watched her do a spring makeup tutorial today and what i really like about her and a lot of the canadian chicks like um sam uh jamie paige uh ali glynes isn't i don't think she's canadian but those are people i really like to watch and one of the reasons for that is that tdo very realistic makeup looks you know for like actual people they're not trying to like change their face and that's kind of what i want this to be i'm going to use a tiny bit of my lc cosmetics velvet no i always say that my lc cosmetics light medium setting powder run it under my eyes but like just underneath again i want everything to be just like very light i typically wouldn't even wear makeup since i have to wear a mask and i'm probably wearing sunglasses but i just wanted to for my bronzer i'm going to use uh bareminerals golden beige 13 foundation it's just like my favorite bronzer color and it's just so i guess the fact that it's loose just makes it like very easily easy to blend and if you're like me and you have i don't know blue hair or like a hair color that you need to keep a bronzer out of the morphe m510 is really good because it's just very detailed you know so you don't it really honestly stresses me out i think it's just because like since i got my hair bleached it stresses me out when i see people go in with like a really really large bronzer brush because tgo into their hair like they'll have brown hair and tjust go into it and i'm just like i could never so this is very um different from my contour
