Me Vs Me | My Pale Skin Foundation Routine Vs Tanned Foundation Routine

today I want to share my winter versus summer makeup routine the differences between skincare foundation contour and highlight and blush whether my skin is porcelain or ten I've started off with the same base you can see how this look grows my face is a little darker than my neck on the porcelain slide which is pretty common and a lot lighter on the side with fake time because I don't tie my face tracking the skin on the con side is easy just moisturizer on primer however porcelain skin can look flat and cakey so I apply a thicker moisturizer extra primer and so it has an oil or a serum to prep the skin on the porcelain side and you'll notice that a lot more work goes into the natural skin routine versus my tan routine I start with a corrector palette and this will contract any unwanted tones on the porcelain side I use a yellow tone on any areas of redness you can also use the green green for cool tones and yellow for warmer neutral skin tones with a flat brush apply this to any areas of redness home only for women around the nose is a problem area but cover any areas of redness or rosacea for instance or blemishes instantly with just a thin layer this has made such a huge difference on the time side I only use the corrector on the blue purple tones underneath my eyes sometimes I don't even need to do that I find that warmer skin tone foundations typically cover a lot more than the lighter shades of foundation so I use that same corrector tone underneath my eyes on the porcelain side as well once all the Corrections have been done it's time for foundation I always use the lightest neutral shade in every foundation brand good thing is healthy mix is actually only available in neutral shades so it's great for the non cool toned light skinned use a stippling motion to blend over the corrector so it's not to disturb them I'm using the f25 blank canvas cosmetics for this so bounce this often on the skin to create full coverage on a tan side I use mixing drops with the same light foundation and this allows you to customize the shade depending on how deep the channes just make sure it always blends with your neck if you can't afford the georgia almani Catrice also have mixing drops however I find they're a little cool domed and we can with golden so I have to go with Giorgio Armani blend of buff this into the skin and you don't need to use a stippling technique because we don't have any corrector tongs to be careful of we do however want to make sure we cover the full face all the way up to the hairline to make sure it blends with the town now we need to set everything with powder on the porcelain side i prep the skin with a setting spray for two reasons one to prevent the foundation from moving when I apply the powder and secondly to prevent it from looking flat and cakey which can happen with pale foundations but you have to make sure the skin is fully dry before you apply the powder otherwise it will stick to certain areas and won't blend the powder I use is by blind chemists cosmetics and I mix the two lighter shades or sometimes just the white itself and use a powder puff or a dry sponge to apply this to prevent it once again from disturbing the foundation and the corrector tones underneath and to finish I use a large brush to sweep off any excess on the tan side I can actually use my favorite L'Oreal powder this is a little bit dark for me sadly when I'm not tanned but it creates the most airbrush finish and really set your makeup in place sometimes I do mix it up with the white powder in order to use it when I'm pale but it doesn't always work my eyebrows stay the same as your brow should always match your hair not your skin tone so no change there now let's move on to contouring highlighting I'm using the NYX contour palette and the shade sculpt but that's not all I use I actually use a grey purple eyeshadow to create the perfect contour shade since it's pretty hard to find one from porcelain skin start by applying the purple eyeshadow with a small brush just in the hollow of the cheeks and you can see how this mimics my natural shadow that I already have just emphasizes it a little bit more and a little goes a long way and you also don't want to leave it like that then go over with a larger brush and apply sculpt around the jaw line hairline and over the purple eyeshadow and don't forget to blend and once I've blended that out i spritz again with the setting spray and while that's drying I use a concealer pencil on my waterline my eyes can look a little bit red with the contrast of the pale skin for highlighting on porcelain skin you need to make sure it's lighter than your skin and is the right tone so I'm using a purple undertone here or sometimes tuse a silver tone i can't use mary lou manizer because it's too dark on my porcelain skin and this one creates the perfect highlighted look on Tom's skin I start by highlighting using a matte yellow powder I don't need to highlight on porcelain skin because my face is just one big highlighted moon but I apply this underneath my eyes and under the hollow of my cheeks while highlighter i used a peach tone from this palette and the lighter shade would be a bit too harsh and for contour use the same technique but instead I use sculpt to replace the purple eyeshadow applying this into the cheekbones and then for around the rest of the face I use the shade toffee this is a little warmer and it will blend with my tab so use this on your hairline jawline and slightly over sculpt so the same technique just differentiate when it comes to blush I keep it muted on both sides for porcelain skin blush come up really intense so really slowly build it up but it's important to apply it to add some color to her face on the time side I went for a brighter tone and this is by benefit and it's perfect for bringing out a golden tan I finish by matching my lipstick to whatever blush I decided to choose and then there you go that is my winter versus summer routine or my porcelain versus tan routine if you liked this video give it a thumbs up and I'll see you guys on Monday
