Makeup for Mature Dry Skin: On My Mom
today's Monday makeup lesson is for dry mature skin and it's on my lovely mom going to start by applying two primers one in the T-Zone and the other for the rest of the face once that sets apply your foundation with a brush on the areas that you need the most coverage and then try using a damp sponge to blend it out bounce it off and on the skin and it will give the most beautiful light airbrush look I'm going to conceal underneath the eyes with a lightening concealer apply this to just the area that you need and then using a blending brush I'm going to sweep over the product to blend it out for the lids I'm going to use my mom's favorite eyelid primer this brightens and conceals the lid and while that sets I'm going to move back onto the face green blushes are a great option for dry skin as it keeps the skin really dewy apply in a low C shape going around the eye and just use your fingertips or a brush to blend it out for a highlighter I'm using a powder but I'm going to apply it with my fingertips if I applied it with a brush the Dew of the skin would soak up too much product using your fingertips will give a light glowy look apply this in a higher C shape above the blush you can also apply this onto the eyelids themselves as well I'm going to to apply the tiniest amount of bronzer next working it onto the cheeks and the forehead and the great thing is you can also use this in the crease of your eye working slightly higher to Contour the eye shape which is great for mature eyelids brows are youthful make sure you take the time to get the shape and the tone just right and if you don't know how to do your brows get them done professionally curl your eyelashes and then apply some mascara and I find a mascara Shield is great for mature Lids because it protects the lid from getting any mascara I'm also going to pop on some Corner eyelashes which my mom loves and tmake a difference to her eye shape for the lips you want to line with a neutral or a clear lip pencil and then you can apply your lipstick or your lip gloss this one is one of my mom's favorites my mom loves pencil eyeliner so I let her do her thing on that and then I'm going to set the makeup using a setting spray instead of a powder and this is perfect for dry skin it will lock in the makeup while keeping the skin dewy and then we're done big thumbs up to my mom for being the guru of the day and I will see you guys next time
