Blush! How to Pick & Wear the Perfect Shade

Welcome to the makeup chair want to talk about how to pick the right blush for you because there's tons of different blushes out there and sometimes it can be a bit daunting picking out the right blush to go with your look so I'm going to go through it step by step let's start off by talking about the natural blush color this is something that's found within your skin already and you're just going to go out and you're going to find something that's going to match with it so the best way to find the perfect blush for your skin is to job around on the spot and see what color your cheeks blush or you can pinch your cheeks and see what color tgo to and whatever color that is try and mimic that with a blush because that's always going to work with your skin another way that you can do this is by looking at your lip color because that can be a really great guideline as well so if you've kind of like a red or Coral or a pink color match that on your cheeks because that can just be amazing it's going to work perfectly for you now if you've got kind of a darker lip color you might want to go for a little bit brighter so look for the tones within your lips but then just go for a little bit brighter than that just to kind of lift your face if you have High coloring and rosacea or you blush a lot you might be actually worried that you can't wear a blush and you actually can you just have to go for something a little bit different so if we have a look at these blushes here if you blush to this color you're not going to want to use this color because you're going to emphasize it even more so when I kind of go blushed and flushed I go to this color so I would choose something a little bit lighter maybe like this one right here or maybe even a coral or just a bronzer something that's slightly different something that's kind of almost like the opposite color so you're not going to emphasize it even more you're just going to give yourself a little bit of a subtle life for when your skin isn't blushing and when you're not feeling a bit embarrassed or when your rosacea is covered and then if it happens to come through it's not going to be emphasized even more because you haven't put the same color on top of it my favorite way of picking out the right blush is to match it with my lipstick so whatever lip color or lip gloss or even I'm just going for a sheer lip I will match that with my cheeks because talways work really really well together so if I'm wearing like a corly lip color I will wear coral on my cheeks like I did today if I'm wearing pink I'll wear pink the only time that you don't want to do that is if you're wearing red if you're wearing a red red lipstick something really intense on the lips and you don't want to match it with your cheeks in those times I would go for something maybe just like a bit of bronzer a very very light amount of pink or if your kind of red lipstick has purplish tones in it you can go for like a little bit more of a purpley kind of tone as long as it's very very small amount or if has like an orangey color you can go for orange on the cheeks but I would seriously just try and stay away from anything too much on the cheeks when you're wearing such an intense lip so for those cases just stick to the bronzer cuz it's the easiest way to do it now this palette is from blankas Cosmetics thave a few different palettes and this one is their um little mini one it looks like this so it's about half the size of their regular palettes like these are let's show it that way these are their regular palettes and inside here this is one of my favorite ones thave this beautiful bubblegum pink here and then we also also have this coral color now this coral color actually looks quite orange but when it's on the cheeks as you can see it looks kind of more peachy so it's beautiful and then most of the time I'll just wear a little bit of pink but you can mix and match like you can bring it more bronzy Colors by using the bronzers mix in you can lighten it with these colors I love this palette it's like a really perfect mix and match kind of palette blushes can really add color and brightness and Life to your face so it is important to apply a little bit of blush I never used to apply blush because I used to get embarrassed at lot cuz I was so shy so my cheeks were always kind of red so I never used to wear them but now I know what colors to look out for and which colors to try I hope you guys enjoyed this video I'm also going to put some more information in the description Box about how to choose the right blush in case you missed anything here and I hope to see you guys in my next video
