Beginner Eye Makeup for Close-Set Eyes | Easy Tutorial

in one of our last Monday makeup lessons we were talking I spacing from average wide to close that ice today I want to focus on how to flatter close that eyes so let's get started I've already primed the eyelid to give us a blank canvas the first shadow is your highlighter this has to be a couple of shades lighter than your skin to make sure that it really stands out this is going to highlight this area and push the eyes further apart and open the space in the center so make sure to really focus on that inner corner alongside the nose and even underneath the eye your brow highlight is also important make sure this is at least one shade lighter than your skin and go all the way along underneath your brows particularly on that inner corner and then blend across and this will open up the space once again for your darker shade you just want to keep these two the outer corner so the outer third of the eye and also pulling the eyes outwards by sweeping the eyeshadows out and this will really open up that space and elongate the eyes pulling them apart from the nose area and this will once again flatter close-set eyes when it comes to eyeliner close that eyes people really want to wing it out so apply a very thin line pretty much the same length the whole way across and then focus on the outer third of the eye pulling this outwards with a nice wing now you can make it as thick coarse that as you want but I find the thinner ones with a thicker edge works best for close-set eyes when applying with Skyride you want to really pull that wand outwards and this will pull the eyes apart from the center and the saying goes when you're applying false eyelashes make sure the outer corner is where you have the most Flair or just apply corner eyelashes instead if you want to go for something a little simpler the very last tip is to start your brows in just a couple of hairs from the inner corner so where tshould naturally be with your nose you actually want to start a couple of hairs in to open up the space and pull the eyes further apart once again so those are just some simple tips on how to flatter close the eyes if you'd like to see more on close that eyes definitely let me know and otherwise you can check out these Monday makeup lessons that you might have missed already
