Today I’m Teaching My Friend How To Do Her Base Makeup
it's like not like um long enough yeah i know but it looks so cute when it's short like this yeah um okay are you ready yeah cool hi uh so yeah i'm recording recording um so this is my friend yasmine hi um i'm gonna be doing her makeup today we're gonna be doing a base we're gonna be doing base makeup uh obviously you can see that yasmine and i have very different face shapes so i'm going to be showing you how i would do like her contour her blush her bronzer all that kind of stuff um and for like prep i'm going to be prioritizing sunscreen she's already wearing sunscreen but i might do a reapplication so whatever uh but yeah anyway that's that we're gonna start doing it oh you're actually you're like just you like just did it right before you left okay i think yeah you feel your skin feels pretty good and you just reapplied sunscreen so let's just do we'll just start it yeah okay so i'm going to start off since she um since she just reapplied her sunscreen right before she came here i'm going to start off with the tatcha the liq liquid silk canvas um just like a little bit this is really good for just smoothing this is the primer it's actually kind of perfect because you live like 15 minutes away so if you reapplied sunscreen right before you got here then that's then we're good to go you're on top of it all right so now i'm going to use just as we were just talking about her skin is looking like much more even but i'm just going to use a tiny bit of the make up for ever redness corrector primer so i'm using the sigma e61 brush apply that in the center of her face and this stuff is really nice because it's nice and lightweight it's super sheer you guys know it i mixed it in with my foundation but it's not going it doesn't dry out your skin it's not really going to like change the formula of anything yeah so because can you see the difference like when you start going in with it it just does like a little bit of neutralizing the red oh it definitely has done it yeah yeah um okay so now i'm going to use i actually think i'm going to mix the ilia super serum skin tint this one is in the shade formosa with a little bit of the it cosmetics your skin but better cc cream which is in the shade fair if you can see that it's just dripping it's dripping so fast so it kind of depends on like if you're having a day where you're like feeling more oily i would recommend the it cosmetics one and then if your skin feels a little bit more dry then the ilia one is gonna be good because it's like nice and hydrating or if you're having a day like this where like your skin is kind of like somewhere in between you can just mix them yeah so i'm using yasmin's uh beauty blender that she brought and then i'm going to just start like a little bit more in the center of the face and then i'm gonna slowly just like work it out into the rest of the face yeah and the redness is just like almost like completely right so i'm just picking up like a little bit more wherever i might need it but once you like make sure that you're placing the application like right in the like the area where you need the most coverage and then kind of like work it out and this this shade matches your skin tone so well this shade we mixed it but the new colors together yeah exactly do you commonly mix i used to do it a lot sometimes it depends on like the color i feel like most of the time this is getting like a little bit more advanced but like if i use a slightly more dark like a foundation that's a little too dark for me i'll use a slightly lighter concealer for like the rest of my face so it's like wherever i'm finding balance all of us have unique skin tones no matter what color we are so like finding something that matches perfectly is probably a stretch okay so jasmine has like literally no pigment like i do you guys know my dark circles um but she does have a teeny little bit of like blue tone in the inner corner and a little bit out here so i'm gonna use just like a tiny bit of a peach um color corrector i'm gonna use my sicily color corrector oh you literally can't see it because it's so yeah let me use my sicily color corrector um so i'm using the sigma e25 max i'm just going to place a little bit of this in her inner corner and then right here so i'm going to use the makeup forever hd concealer this is in the shade 21 which i think i meant to give to you last time because it's like perfect for you and i it's too dark for me um but once again i'm just going to put a little bit on the back of my hand and i'm going to use that same sigma brush and you don't like obviously when you're doing your own makeup you don't have to be like this it's going to be different right because you're going to be watching this and you're going to be like she's using all these brushes and it's like so gentle and like precise and like it's so much easier when you're when i can step back from your face and really see what i'm doing versus like you doing your own makeup you know you're staring in a mirror and like you unfortunately can't remove your eyes from your head so yeah it's actually kind of nice to um like if you use a brush to apply your foundation or um apply your blush and then go in with your bronzer like it's actually kind of nice i did that recently and it just like everything just melted together like so nicely so it definitely has some olive but then you you had said i could get away with like a peach neutral because like we're sort of using both yeah a little bit yeah so when i look at your skin because like when i look at your neck i see the same kind of olive tone that i have but like for me i have green like under this is actually a really good conversation to have so when i look at my skin i have like a green tone like underneath like when sort of when you look at the veins i guess but if you look at the overtone of my skin i see this like pale yellow when i compare it to yasmin's skin i see a green tone underneath but she has kind of more of a peachy tone on the top so which means that like she can get away with using something a little bit more neutral um as long as it's not you know like uh too pink she wants to avoid the pink stuff i usually um ignore these things because like i don't really care but you know whatever if you want to know so i'm using like this concealer the one that i'm going to give you um and i'm just like placing it down and i'm just going to let it sit for a little while and that's going to kind of like thicken it up a little bit okay so now i'm gonna use this tiny rougher 13 brush and i'm just going to blend around those edges i'm going to pat really gently over the area where i spot concealed so as not to remove the coverage and i'm just kind of like diffusing around the edges and then diffusing around the edges you don't really notice like spot concealing is just the best because you don't really notice that there's like more coverage in that area i'm gonna do some contouring so i'
