oh that's the last one hard disagree on the last one how dare you guys wanted to share and rate your hot takes on beauty Beauty hot takes makeup hot takes Beauty hot takes I guess I'm gonna go with they're pretty funny I gotta say some of them all right number one basically all skin care is a scam I'm gonna have to politely disagree with you on that one not all skin care is a scam I totally understand like there's some other ones in here that are kind of along the same lines totally understand like there's so many products out there and people are constantly pushing like actives and like all these different things and I feel like also myself included a lot of influencers are like trying to figure out their own skincare routine so that usually goes through like a few iterations so they're constantly like this is my updated skincare routine it probably just feels like people are just selling [ __ ] to you which on one hand that's kind of true uh but on the other like nah dude everybody needs a skincare routine some peoples might be more complicated some peoples might be more simple I wouldn't say basically all skin care is a scam I would say that the way that it's handled sometimes can be kind of scammy it's okay to put Shimmer Glitter in your crease you're not gonna get any kind of a uh pushback from me on this one I am all about if you saw my recent one of my recent videos I'm all about putting Shimmer all over the eye I definitely it was like a thing for a really long time where I was like I felt scared to do it and I think a lot of people don't necessarily think that you can I don't know like it's a makeup rule or something but put Shimmer in your crease I think it looks dope I'm wearing gold leaf eyeshadow right now you know what I mean using a hot tool to make hair look wavy the way it does after it's dried in a braid is stupid and damaging I don't know if I can really speak to this one because I have no hair yeah so I don't know I mean like not all people can just like braid it and have it look beautiful right like sometimes it just doesn't the braids don't work I truly don't know because this I can't even remember the last time my hair was long enough to braid seventh grade Maybe sophomore year of high school it's been a minute uh I will agree with you that using heat Hot Tools in general very damaging to the hair like you have to be very very careful make sure you're using like the proper level of heat and all that I don't know there's I'm sure that they're like hair people out there who know all of that I know that since I stopped using heat like I basically only use my blow dryer on like a really low setting my hair has been so much healthier which is funny because it's bleached but you know whatever not a fan of glossy lick lips it's a sticky mess and my hair always gets in it dude first of all love a glossy lip sometimes I don't love lip gloss but I love a glossy looking lip I feel like I'm more of a bomb type person I don't understand how girls with long hair can wear a glossy lip like 100 do not understand that I have only worn wigs recently and I feel like tget in everything not just my lip product but like if I'm wearing a dewy like cheek bomb or something like that it just gets it just like sticks to your skin it's horrible from just wearing sunscreen or something like well what a horrible feeling so I'm kind of gonna agree with you on that one uh smile wrinkles are beautiful totally agree with you smile wrinkles these these lines right here and also crow's feet so cute I love them so much I think they're like the most attractive things tlook like extensions of makeup because they're evidence of you smiling and being happy like why would that be unattractive you know totally agree with you on that frown lines worry lines I'm not as convinced about but um smile lens I love you don't need 10 colors to create an eye look first of all I'm feeling personally attacked by this one uh as someone who like regularly wears like 20 different eyeshadow colors it depends on the look bro like yeah if you're doing a one shadow look then you only need one shadow I would say two minimum I mean you can use as many as you want no it doesn't take ten like you know you don't need 10 for an eyeshadow look but if you're going for a look that's requires 10 eyeshadows then yeah you do you do I'm gonna politely disagree there's too many useless eyeshadow palettes also most of them look the same yeah you're probably right about that I mean there are so many eyeshadow palettes out there that are like exactly the same or like close to the exact same thing and yet you constantly feel like you need it right it's [ __ ] natural makeup is way harder than going out makeup laughs maybe I kind of sometimes it depends I think on what you do the most if you're constantly doing natural makeup then you're used to it sorry I just got I just got like a rude comment on YouTube notification yeah I think whatever you do the most is the thing that you're gonna be the best at probably sometimes like making your your makeup look like it's not there when you're actually wearing quite a bit of makeup yes that can be difficult that usually takes like more time so I think there's truth in this for sure men that wear makeup are beautiful totally [ __ ] agree with you I recently just got like the rudest one of the rudest comments from a professional makeup artist who was like who puts makeup on men I don't put makeup on men and I was just like what the the weirdest comment ever not gonna disagree with you there only doing eyes and Cheeks is just about as valid as doing Only Skin totally agree I think it depends on the person you know like just doing eyes and lips and leaving your skin completely alone is definitely like a look and it fits like a certain type of person just like only doing skin if it's a certain type of person you know what I mean yeah I totally [ __ ] agree I actually think it's like really that's like probably one of the dopest ways to wear makeup because you're not changing anything about yourself probably right you're just like putting experimental colors and stuff on your face I think it's dope some faces look good in glam makeup some don't I look terrible in it I think it comes down it probably comes down to preference like I feel like a lot of people feel like tcan't wear certain things and it's because tdon't like seeing themselves in it but other people might like seeing you in it or you might do your makeup a certain way and other people might think it's beautiful but you don't like it or you feel uncomfortable in it so I don't know I kind of think that everyone can wear anything basically 99.9 of percent of mascaras suck falsies for life uh I mean yeah I mean if you're like me and you have lashes like me that are super straight and tjust like fall down then I'm gonna have to go ahead and agree with you like I don't think I've ever found a mascar
