I Wish I Didn’t Buy These… Makeup Regrets

guys welcome back to my channel I'm Alex if you didn't know uh I wanted to do an anti-haul someone requested it and I was like that's a really good idea because I definitely have a lot of regretful purchases so I'm gonna share some of them with you today I don't have a ton of stuff however I do have a ton of regrets when it comes to shopping but let me know if you like this and maybe I can try to find some more because I'm sure I have just an endless supply the first thing that I want to talk about is this diffuser I started to get into essential oil diffusers a while back uh don't ask me why um for some people it's fantastic this is actually a really great brand they're very chic I have two of them this one's a little bit smaller I have a slightly larger one it's more of like a taupe kind of color this is from the brand plant therapy tlook like Stone they're like really nice some some you know essential oil diffusers can be really ugly uh it has like a bunch of different settings Mist there's a light ring to it uh you can have it go for 20 I mean 20. two hours 15 minutes 30 minutes 15 wait I actually don't know what all these buttons mean I'll be honest with you it doesn't matter the point is I never use it ever okay I used it maybe twice the other one maybe twice and you know what the honest truth is it's just kind of a [ __ ] to clean I don't know it's just you got to clean it out like all the time or else it gets really nasty uh and it's just kind of a [ __ ] it's kind of a [ __ ] to keep clean because you want to keep in mind anything with running water mold can happen so you really need to be on top of keeping it clean and I'm just not that person I have an espresso machine that I need to worry about that with and I'm willing to put in the work for my lattes not for my Essential Oil diffusers so I have two of these they've been sitting in my kitchen in a drawer cabinet and uh being completely unused good so that was a massive waste of money maybe you maybe you love essential oils and you're you're willing to put in the work I'm not one of those people next up is a skincare item that I was using for so long these are the zit sticker wait is it sticker Killa micro Dart patches I use these for so long because I was listening to all these people talk about how like salicylic acids also like acid it's so good for your skin blah blah blah if you have breakouts listen for some people this might work I had to learn the hard way that my skin just doesn't like salicylic acid so I was using these freaking patches for such a long time to try and like Target spots and um just kind of making things worse I don't know what it is my skin doesn't tolerate it doesn't it doesn't get irritated by salicylic acid it just does not work and then the acne just like continues you know so this was a massive waste of money I can't tell you how many of these boxes I bought they're so expensive for like how much you get you really don't get that many I think you get like wait one two three four five six seven eight is it eight of them that's not that much especially if you've got like say you have six breakouts on your face and you need a patch for everyone you're left with two I don't like that math I use these for such a long time thinking that tlike were working for me I think I was trying to convince myself that twere working for me but tjust don't so if salicylic acid doesn't work for you don't waste your money dude this was a huge waste of money I still have this freaking box I'm never gonna use I don't I just need to get rid of it stupid oh here's a really here's the stupidest purchase Tam Dao I don't know I don't know how you say it um 35 Boulevard Saint Germain diptych I think they're called diptych fragrances listen this is some expensive [ __ ] okay I wanted to try it I went on the website checked out the notes everything seemed like it was going to align I got it and I was like do I like this and it took me such a long time to decide that I couldn't return it anymore the very expensive perfume how many times have I worn it maybe twice it's more like a cologne but when I had my boyfriend smell it he was like I think it's a little too girly for me so I was like oh I don't even really know how to describe it it's kind of like a it's not it's not like offensive it's not bad it's just a little too masculine for my taste grab that it's almost like a frankincense or myrrh type kind of like scent very musky it's kind of soft but it's just a little bit too masculine and it's very expensive sometimes I'll use it to like ground a more sweet perfume but it's just one of those ones where I'm like I'm never grabbing this ever what a waste of money what a gigantic waste of money don't ever buy perfume without smelling it first that's something I've learned just don't do it it's so stupid what a stupid thing to do next I have some clothing items this is an Athleta top I love Athleta all of my leggings are from Athleta I live in them personally I think thave the best workout leggings especially if you're petite because thave the different lengths one of my faves is the I think it's called the salutation legging with the stash pocket literally live in them every single day I wear them I got these tops from Athleta uh this is hard to see because it's black but it has a scoop neck this neckline has never looked good on me why did I buy this I guess I figured because it was like an athletic top that it wouldn't make a difference it's someone flattering on me I never wear it and it's Athleta so it's like not cheap you know it's very good quality it's beautiful it's very soft like I love Athleta so much freaking ugly ass neckline on me okay if you're like a tall slender ballerina type then you could probably [ __ ] with this neckline that's not me so I never wear this I have two of them the [ __ ] am I supposed to do with this the [ __ ] am I supposed to do with this stupid don't buy shirts that have unflattering necklines I knew it I bought it anyway stupid another clothing item this is this is a fantastic clothing item for this video uh because okay listen I don't know what how you guys feel about skims it's a controversial brand topic person I have so I've purchased basically every single launch I love so much from skims almost every time I film you see me wearing a skims top all my underwear all my bras are skims okay I have socks I have tops I have pajamas like I love skims all right but I also don't love all of it I have purchased four of these [ __ ] shapewear things and I just hate all of them and I don't understand how anyone likes the shapewear I don't get it I find it to be so unflattering and so uncomfortable I don't know what else to say dude I don't get it I'm trying to make shapewear happen and it's not happening okay which is not happening um what are these I don't even [ __ ] know tnever say on the actual thing they're like the everyday the everyday shap
