How To Get A Flawless Base Without Foundation
wanted to show you my go-to base routine where i use no foundation because i think i uploaded a tick tock or i uploaded a photo somewhere or whatever and i was basically saying that's like this is my new favorite base especially for daytime and a bunch of you wanted to see it so that's what we're gonna do um okay so most importantly sunscreen i'm going to a couple of events today they're daytime events i'm gonna be outside uh so and i probably look like extra white right now because i slathered on a combination of my ltmd uv clear sunscreen which i don't have here right now they're in the bathroom and then the other one is the oven sunscreen which is a little bit more like hydrating i mix them because it's just the perfect combo for me and thave similar like spf powers uh i'll link that [ __ ] down below so i'm gonna do a little bit of color correcting underneath my eyes i'm gonna use my la girl pro conceal because since i filmed that video um i was like oh yeah i used to love this this is going to be very minimal because i'm really embracing my natural skin as you know as a lot of you know i've been on a skin care journey and i've been very happy with the results so i totally understand people who are like [ __ ] i can't wear no foundation um definitely don't feel like you shouldn't be wearing foundation you totally can but i just thought this would be good for those of you who aren't wearing foundation because apparently a lot of you commented and said that you're not you want to wait 15 minutes after you apply your other like moisturizers and skincare to apply sunscreen and then you want to wait another 15 minutes after applying sunscreen to apply your makeup just keep that in mind also helps avoid peeling now i'm just gonna go in with a concealer that's like relatively close to my skin tone um and full cover and like a little bit more full coverage i guess i'm gonna use rose ink this is in the shade lx010 actually i can't remember if this is like close to my skin tone it might be a little bit light but i'm just going to use that right here to provide some coverage for those circles before i do a little bit of highlighting dark circle are people who don't have dark circles could just like skip this step altogether they're these two steps i guess okay now i'm going to go in with my sephora bright future gel serum concealer this is in the shade bavarium bavarian cream it's very light in every way like the color is the lightest color thave i believe uh and it's also like super lightweight it's a serum concealer so i'm gonna use this to do a little bit of brightening in that area of my face a little bit around my nose what else do i do sometimes i do like a little bit right here and then i like to do a little bit on the tops of my cheekbones like that oh and then sometimes i put a little bit right here i haven't really been doing that recently but whatever so i'm just patting i'm gonna keep it like where i put it you know and this is gonna be the only cream that we use everything else is going to be powder so it's going to be like very lightweight this is just going to help out a little bit of shape to the face just cover up like a little bit of redness in certain areas as well but i basically like especially when i'm wearing uh sunscreen i just want my makeup to be super minimal because number one i don't want to manipulate the sunscreen as much i want it to do its job and number two i just i don't know i just like especially for daytime i've i love like a clean just clean you know just taking this on the very tops of my cheekbones to add a little bit of a lift now before this step if i do have any like active breakouts or anything um or just like areas that are like particularly red then i would go in with a concealer that's like close to my skin tone i like the one by cosos i think it's in the shade one what shade is it i can't remember i'll link it down below um but i love yeah i love that concealer because it matches my skin tone so perfectly and i'll just place a little like i have some breakout like a little bit i like discoloration right there but like i don't care i don't really care i don't need to conceal that you know all right before i do any setting i'm just going to apply my eyeshadow primer because i'm going to film an eyeshadow video after this all right i'm going to do some very minimal setting with my lc cosmetics setting powder and then for the rest of my face i'm going to do just like a really light dusting of my ilia magic sands powder which also contains spf literally just like very very light it's not really doing anything i just want to like make sure i'm not super shiny when i go in with my other powders all right i'm going to start off with my bronzer to do a little bit of warmth and shaping um so that i don't go in with too much contour that's like kind of what i do especially for daytime like warm up the face do a little bit of shaping then you can like refine with contour so for my bronzer this has not changed nars um san juan i've been using it like since i bought it i just i love the color it's this beautiful warm shade so nars san juan on my nars brush just tapping on the very top of my forehead and then slowly bringing that down creating a little bit of a halo remember that if you are trying to maintain i don't have foundation on um so it doesn't really matter but if you are maintaining coverage or you've spot concealed in certain areas make sure that you pat rather than rubbing because that's gonna ensure that you're not like buffing coverage away now when i wear sunscreen i usually go in a little bit extra just a little bit extra with the um bronzer because the sunscreen does have a little bit of a white cast and it does make me look just a little extra white plus my uh hair covers up most of my forehead um for my cheekbones i'm gonna start just under my cheekbone to create a little bit of shape and then i'm gonna slowly blend that onto the ch rude dude i think this thing's falling apart and it's really sad bring it into the hairline up onto the cheekbone i'm gonna cup the cheek a little and i added my um my ilia powder specifically because it just helps prevent this from like pulling on the sunscreen if it's like a little bit wet you know bro you know so we're creating like a little bit of shape and color you guys know the deal um and then i'm just gonna pick up a little bit more really tapping off my brush like like just abusing my finger over here ow jesus and then i'm gonna just kind of like buff it around my jawline just to create like a cohesive glow of the skin so mostly in the areas where i'm like gonna end up contouring that i like to push back and then down on my neck down on my neck a little bit okay now that i have like warmth and some shape i can go in and like refine with a little bit of contour if i want which i want i'm gonna use my wayne goss contour this is the radiance boosting face p
