Dude Mascara Can Totally Change Your Eyes

and if you have been super confused as to why people wear waterproof mascara or like like day to day like if they're not going swimming then hopefully this was a good illustration of why uh okay so i've received a lot of questions from people who are just very unsure of why i prefer using a waterproof mascara now this is something that i've talked about a lot but i wanted to demonstrate the side by side so that you can understand why someone like me and maybe you would prefer using a waterproof mascara over a regular mascara so my lashes are incredibly straight and very very fine my hair is very fine and it's blonde so you don't really see them you know as of right now you probably can't really see them when i'm looking at them tkind of like point down and because of that i've never really been like big on mascaras because tjust didn't really do what i wanted tdidn't really like hold a curl you know we're gonna get a deep zoom in here want to show you why why that is real quick this video is a collaboration with the brand cleo tare a korean brand you guys have heard me talk about them a million times the waterproof mascara that i'm going to be using today is well actually i haven't decided which one but um you guys have heard me talk about their clio kill lash mascara a million times actually speaking of clio um i'm wearing their eye shadow right now i'm wearing number 11 number 11 palette so pretty do you just like absolutely love those actually if you saw my other video with them then you saw me use the um eyeshadow palettes as well they're really really beautiful just like incredibly soft and thave new shades coming out oh sorry 11 and 13. is that what i said i can't remember um in october they'll be launching so and all of this stuff is available on amazon so it's like very accessible um okay so thave two of them and i love them both i've used both of them and i really like them a lot so it's the super proof mascara thave the volume and curling and sleek volume so the sleek volume is that kind of wand and then their super proof liner the waterproof ones and then the um volume and curling is this guy so it's a little bit more it's more straight but their wands in general are incredibly precise so if you're someone like me who and you have like tiny little lashes it's just like it just adds more precision okay so i'm gonna be comparing this actually to the benefit roller lash mascara because this is a really nice mascara um as like as far as regular mascaras go i do like it it's got you know also oh it's a little old maybe i should grab a different one actually i'm gonna grab the mini please hold okay this one's like old and crusty so i'm gonna use and since my clio one is new um this is a mini because i'm gonna do a mini video but uh this is the benefit roller lash mascara and i really liked this mascara it also has like a pretty you know small precise uh wand it's not quite as tiny but you know this is a regular mascara it's not waterproof also it's a little bit kind of like gray dark gray not to like shade benefit i do like this mascara but anyway so i want to show you the difference and i want to show you like how thold basically this can be a wear test so first i got to give my lashes a good curl because tare so straight the way that i do that is um starting at the base i just do kind of like pulsing motions and then i i slide i don't do it so hard and i also keep like a nice light hand i just kind of like go up the lash like that contacts okay roller lash mascara let's go on in so i'm gonna do a couple coats so first coat looks pretty nice right like gives them a nice coating uh tdon't look like they're falling yet i mean actually as i'm like i'm literally like staring at myself in the mirror and i'm watching them fall i don't know if you guys noticed that but tliterally start to like fall um because a lot of mascaras that are not waterproof tstay a lot more wet and if you have very straight lashes they're just like not going to hold as well um so i don't wait for my i don't know if people do i don't wait for my mascara to dry before i go in with a second coat so i'm going to go in with a second coat and one of the problems with regular mascara is that as you start to like build it up it gets heavier so it starts to weigh the lashes down even more now if you're someone who has like super curly long eyelashes then like you probably don't care but for me it's not ideal so that's like not terrible right like it's coated my lashes it's giving them a little bit of definition but like i said i can see them start to fall because the product is heavy so now for the other side i'm going to go in i think i'm going to use the um long curling wand because i just really like that so this is one of the best waterproof mascaras that i've ever used if you saw my like first video where i tried it i was like oh my god i was blown away by it and it has been a go-to for me all right now for my clio i mean now for my clio so i'm going to do same kind of application starting at the base so the first thing that i noticed when i first used this mascara was that it like was just so not only precise but also it kind of stayed out of the way you know what i mean sometimes you go in with like a mascara wand and it just like it doesn't feel like it fits into your eye does that make sense i'm also applying oh no i'm just gonna wait for that to dry okay so that was the first application which already you can see like how much it's holding my lashes up um i'm gonna go in with my second application i'm gonna let my lid dry also when you apply mascara the best thing to do is make sure that you're looking down into a mirror okay i just cleaned up the mascara if you ever get mascara on your eyelids just let it dry and then go in with like a q-tip or a clean brush that's the way to do it all right so clearly you can see a difference in the overall finish of my lashes like i said a waterproof mascara is going to basically like it holds it solidifies a little bit more so if you have very stubborn straight lashes it's going to actually like keep those lashes in place it's like hairspray basically a regular mascara tends to stay a little bit more wet it doesn't quite set as much so if you have stubborn lashes especially if they're fine like mine and tlack a lot of volume then it's just going to be a little bit heavy on your lashes and then they're going to fall which is what is happening here um so i'm going to what time is it like noon 12 15. so i'm going to wear this throughout the day i'm going to do my lower lashes as well um with these mascaras and then i want to see how they're going to wear like i want to see if this holds up the whole time um if we get
