so i thought today i would just sit down and film like a a frequently asked asked questions video because i get a lot of the same questions and i feel like in other q and a's tjust end up kind of like sprinkled throughout and i thought it would be helpful to just have them all in one place so i'm just gonna be answering i'm gonna put this as like my channel trailer or something so like whatever uh no explanation really needed so we'll start off since i'm wearing some baller ass jewelry uh i always get questions about my jewelry i actually did a video on my favorite jewelry brands my favorite pieces and whatever so i will put that up here for any like frequently asked questions that i received that i have a specific video on i'm just going to pop it up in the top whichever corner it is i feel like it's this one maybe it's this one but i'll pop it up there so that you can refer to that um okay so the first one is the nail polish that i wear which i'm not wearing today these are just nail stickers uh that i got at ulta so i'll link them down below but that's not a frequently asked question so frequently people ask me what nail polish i'm wearing and it is almost always opi nail envy choose which one it doesn't really matter i usually use the one for sensitive nails because mine are very thin and it's quite thick so opa oh opa opi nail envy thave like dry and brittle sensitive and peel i think it's a sensitive and peeling one because it's like pretty thick and it dries really fast thave a natural one thave the original which kind of looks cloudy um but that's the best nail strengthener that i've been able to find and that's literally all it is it's just a clear nail strengthener but it kind of gives my nails like a really nice healthy pink hue i think that's why people like it another frequently asked question is what camera i film on so i film right now with the canon eos 80d 80d um and my lens what lens is this i used to film with a 50 millimeter what is this this is the sigma 17 to 70 millimeter lens so it's a zoom lens it's pretty good quality i think but i got it because i needed to be able to zoom and the 50 millimeter is a fixed lens prime lens so uh it's really good quality but you can't zoom um so that's what i've been using for like a while but my boyfriend did get me a new camera and i really need to like start using it but i need to get a new lens for that so and that's even better quality i just haven't gotten around to it so up until this point at the very least the canon 80d but not add you know what i mean um all of the photos that i take and put on instagram for the most part unless tlook like unless tlook professionally shot like unless tlook like a camera took them it's just with my phone especially all the ones that are natural light i just use my phone which is the um 12 plus uh one that i get a lot is what contacts i'm wearing because i think people think that i'm wearing colored contacts these are just regular contacts i'm just blind um my eyes are this color naturally sometimes i do wear colored contacts for like special effects looks or like halloween or sometimes i'm just feeling crazy uh and the brand that i like to use is whoa i completely just forgot what they're called desio wow tliterally blanked on that um they're an italian brand and uh tare in my opinion the best quality colored contacts that there are i would not recommend any other brand literally any other brand reaches out to me and i delete their emails because i'm like no does you another question that i receive a lot is why i don't take my concealer when i'm concealing my under eye circles all the way up and it is because let me zoom you in in case you haven't seen any other explanations i have just creases underneath my eyes it's just part of my anatomy and if i bring my concealer all the way up like heavily no matter what it will crease there so people will always be like why doesn't she take a concealer all the way up and i kind of feel like it should be obvious that's one that bothers me that's why i've got attitude right now another question i get a lot is how i like got the courage to cut my hair i've had a pixie for about seven years now and uh my hair was never really long to begin with it was kind of like an angled bob like a posh posh spice kind of victorian beckham situation for a while um it's been long like twice in my life so it wasn't like a an emotional thing i was just like i'm gonna cut my hair and then i did it my hair might not be mint when you're watching this uh but sometimes it is so i like to play with the colors it's usually like a platinum blonde another question that i always get how did you start working with pat mcgrath just to be clear i am not working with her anymore um but the way that it happened was when i first started getting into makeup uh like when i first started posting makeup on instagram which is like where i started uh i was doing a lot of like close-up eye shots uh of just like color uh creative colorful eye shadow and this was before her brand launched and she was reposting my images as like inspo and that's kind of like where we first connected a little bit then when i moved out to la treached out and um invited me to meet pat and talk about the new collection which were the like when she launched i think it was a five but it was like the the little pans of like a cream metallic color and then a uh like a foiled metallic color i can't remember what those were called um it was like the double o whatever things do you guys remember i still have them somewhere but anyway treached out and then it was kind of like on and off for a little while but then i ended up working with them for probably about three years basically creating those like close-up eye shots you probably still see them in sephora ads on pinterest um just online pretty much everywhere that's my eyeball if you see a still image of a beautiful pat mcgrath smokey eye and it's got my green iris that's my eyeball that's my work i always get questions about my skincare i will link my most recent skincare video up here uh if you're interested in pluck uh if you over plucked and you lost your hairs i'm so sorry invest in a brow pen not that you have to invest nyx has a really good one it's super affordable but um brow pens are really what do it soap brows brow pens tutorials tutorials i often receive questions about my favorite brushes and personally i love morphe brushes i hear a lot of bad things i don't really like i don't i'm not involved in the politics of like makeup drama uh makeup brand drama but morphe sent me brushes like a while back and i love them they're super affordable i've never had a morphe brush fall apart uh i
