New Mascara Hack Revealed | Beauty Secrets Unveiled

um okay i have a super random mascara hack for you guys i am a genius i'm gonna have to bleep that so mask okay i have very straight lashes they're like not horribly short but they're very very straight and tdon't hold a curl i typically wear waterproof mascara because it's like the only thing that will hold my lashes up uh recently i went to an event for um gaby took me to an event for tower 28 which twere launching this new mascara which twere like boasting about it's like this amazing formula blah blah blah all these things i tried it and i was like it's good on its own but still not what i need like it still just doesn't hold the curl it's like fine i would say as far as like regular mascaras non-waterproof mascaras it holds my lashes fine fine like i would choose this over other mascaras you know what i mean so anyway long explanation i typically prime my eyesh prime for my eyeshadow with um my urban decay eye primer oftentimes when i'm applying this it gets on my lashes and then i have this genius idea and i'm gonna show you it today so i'm going to start off like it's basically like a diy not diy because you're not making it but it's like you already have a mascara primer in your possession if you use an eyeshadow primer granted i've only used this eyeshadow primer but regardless i'm gonna zoom you in we'll do a little side by side so first i'm gonna curl these lashes and i'm just going to apply the mascara on its own the way i curl my lashes is creepy but i start at the base and i slowly pulse up so i'm really trying to get that curl you know what i mean usually do it at least three times now i'm gonna go straight in with this tower 28 mascara which does seem like very nice the wand is cool see i can already feel my lashes straightening out as i'm applying it the nice thing about this is that like it definitely doesn't clump you know um and i think it like wears relatively well but do you see how my lashes are already straightening out it happened so fast okay so that's one coat so for me personally as i was applying it like it's not holding my curl it's holding my lashes up a little bit a little bit you know gives them like a nice definition i like that it combs them out it seems fine it's still not what i need from a mascara it just isn't like it's not going to compare to like my cleo kill lash mascara so now what we're gonna do is use the eyeshadow primer on our lashes so i'm gonna curl the exact same way base to tip three times oh my contact tried to jump out of my face now after i curl this third time i'm gonna go straight in with my urban decay original priming potion on my lashes so coating every lash like straight in with the uh applicator then i'm gonna use a clean spoolie and i'm going to just kind of like brush it through so it's not thick i guess you could like apply it to the spoolie and then go in i prefer to do it this way though all right now i'm just going to give it a couple minutes i just want it to set on its own okay now i've used just i guess while we're like waiting for this to set i've used mascara primers in the past now i did have a conversation with this girl becca um at the event who is a big uh proponent of korean eyeshadow primers which i have not tried yet so just full disclosure super interested in those do you see how much these have fallen you know what i mean like that's disappointing i have problem lashes man anyway i've used plenty of primers before i feel like they're all really heavy and they'll they'll make like your lashes thicker but they're not going to hold the curl which is what i need i don't care about my lashes being thicker i just want them to be up you know the reason that i was like kind of experimenting with this is because wait did i even finish that explanation a lot of the time when i apply my eyeshadow primer i get it on my lashes like at the base of my lashes and i was kind of finding that like my mascara was just like holding even better when that would happen you know like i would go in and i would curl um after juice sorry these have fallen so much and so i was just kind of like one day i was like you know what i'm gonna try this i don't know if anyone else has tried this before like maybe i'm probably not that innovative but to me it sounds it seems like [ __ ] genius all right now that i've let that sit i'm going to go in with the exact same mascara over top um i'm sorry is that a huge [ __ ] difference is that [ __ ] crazy i'm so excited about this look at that so i want to just kind of like wait because these you know took a second to like fall so i want you guys to see it in like real time um when i did this the other day i feel like maybe tlike kind of went down a little bit but theld really well and i was amazed i was so happy about it because that's one of the things like wearing a waterproof mascara every single day i've got i don't really i don't do it i don't wear my uh i don't wear makeup every single day so i don't i'm fine with wearing a waterproof mascara you know because i just don't i just don't need to wear it every single day but a lot of you wear makeup every day and you're like waterproof mascara is just like so harsh on my lashes and then like removing it and everything like it's just a lot so i wanted to try and figure out a way that i could get like the same finish essentially but with something that's going to be very easy to remove now when i did this the other day i uh i did it in the morning when i was just like wearing sunscreen and i went in to like wash my face after a workout and i forgot that i was even wearing mascara so i didn't even use like soap and it came off with water like essentially all of it came off with water so it's very very gentle all right do you guys see that it's like kind of fallen like straightened out ever so slightly but in comparison it's like still up there isn't that kind of crazy uh all right guys that's my little mascara trick i just came up with it one day and i'm happy with the results uh it's pretty drastic i think and like i said very like comfortable easy to remove gentle on your lashes again i do think this is a good mascara but it's just it's like the promises are not they're not it tjust aren't like they're just tdon't do what tsay they're gonna do but the formula is really nice it's very lightweight it's very flexible uh it feels comfortable on the lashes so i kind of feel like this combination is really really great so if you are a person who doesn't need to you know or you don't have to worry about your lashes falling definitely like this mascara i think it's really nice uh very like black gentle not gonna clump that kind of situation uh but if you do have to worry about your lashes falling try this and let me know what you think and if you try it with different eyeshadow primers please let me know like if it's something that you have to squeeze out and you put it straight on a spoolie like try diff
