Alright Halsey…let’s See What You Got With This About Face Beauty Situation

boom but like stop i'm keeping that stuff forever um okay so we're round twoing this because i tried filming this i got the package on for a friday i tried to film saturday and i just failed miserably just the look was just horrendous so i'm starting over oh i didn't put my jewelry on uh when it launched i purchased some products from about face and then shortly after treached out to me to send me pr which is what i showed you at the beginning of this video so i'm going to try to distinguish or delineate delineate i'm going to try to tell you what i purchased just so that you know i'm going to probably use mostly that obviously because they're the products that stood out to me um so we're gonna start off with the eyes um i do have this like i don't know if it's like dermatitis or what's popping over here but i've had this like scaly eyelid thing going on for like a week or so um so we're just keeping that in mind all right so i'm going to start off with the fluid eye paints so these are matte fluid eye paints uh this is in the shade white noise i want to use this one don't know how yet and this is in the shade smell before rain uh so i did not purchase this shade this came in the pr box i did purchase the white oh i was just gonna say something i forgot it was oh okay so i'm gonna do the tutorial like i'm gonna use all the products we're gonna go through the emotions and then save all the other stuff like like full review slash packaging and all that stuff at the end okay so i'm gonna start off with the white one so these are pretty opaque and thave like a little uh doe foot applicator like a lip gloss applicator they're very creamy what i learned from the first time that i filmed with them is tcan be very opaque or you can shear them out and the applicator is actually really really detailed so i'm going to start off by i do have an eye primer down just a very small amount of my anastasia eye primer so i'm actually going to draw my shape with this so i'm starting as a wing and then i'm gonna come up like that so if you use a light hand you actually have a lot of control over the precision of these applicators and then i'm going to take uh this little smudgy brush and blend there's green on this excellent so the best thing to do with these products is to place them down and then start blending immediately because otherwise tstart to set which you can see is happening now so you do have a little bit of wiggle room but as you can see since i like went and tried to pick up that brush they've already set and the blending is like done so let me just show you i'm gonna fill in this little corner right here now if i start going in immediately and patting it out you can actually you actually have like a nice amount of blendability but you gotta move quick so you want to place down the product and then start blending and then if you want to build up coverage you can just kind of pack it on a little thicker and then wait for that to set a little bit and then just kind of um tap around the edges to blend so these are actually quite versatile but you have to know how to use them these are unlike the auric cream shadows these are much more of an artistic kind of thing this isn't meant to be this like easy beginner type of makeup if you have seen any of the um branding you know if you checked out the instagram for about face it's all about super artistic uh i mean tare called eye paints so you do have to have a little bit of makeup knowledge to begin with but um in my opinion as like an artist tare versatile and really interesting so the more you build it up it does become opaque but when it starts to dry it can get a little bit like cracky i'm just gonna even this [ __ ] out but i did watch a video with halsey doing using one of the pink shades of these on her eyes and uh she did like put the pro put the po put the product down and then start blending and she actually got like a really nice wash of color but you know these are the i don't know they're not exactly big beginner friendly these products so just keep that in mind i like what's happening over here a lot more than what's happening over here but we'll figure that out uh okay for the lid i'm going to i think i'm going to go in with the taupe shade smell before rain i like that name it's a really pretty it kind of just like goes with my tones right now so i'm gonna place this on the lid like that and then um just using this what is this little sigma detail blending brush i'm going to pat this out all over the lid you could use your finger too for padding um and i actually i really like this tone it's kind of like a dijony mustard and i'm just going to kind of pat that into the white blending little ombre situation my cat is snoring really loud right now i doubt you guys can hear it but it's kind of adorable kinda like that so i don't know how well you guys can see how so actually actually zoom you in even more oh what happened where you go but that color looks incredibly soft um and one nice thing about the fact that tset kind of quickly is that you can place it all over your lid blend it out and then it's like good to go you know oh i'm using the wrong brush i can't tell if that's my dry skin or if the white kind of like bunched up there i think it's my dry skin that's irritating i really like that color i'm liking this a lot better than what i had going the other day all right i'm just wiping off that brush that i used to blend up here because um all my brushes over there and i don't feel like getting them and then what i'm to do is taking the black shade of the matte shadow stick in the shade kill the lights it's just black i'm going to run this on the outer corner of my eye along my lash line so i'm going to go into my water line a little bit just right there and then it's kind of a similar thing with these what i learned the other day when i use them for the first time they're very waxy and not the most forgiving but if you start blending immediately you're good so i'm gonna kind of trace that under that wing under that white and then i'm gonna bring it are you focusing on me the [ __ ] is this you like my what are you doing thank you jesus so rude so i've been blending for like a couple seconds and i can feel like my brush is starting to pull against that product so it's starting to set these products set kind of quickly so you do have to like go in and start blending immediately i'm just going to take that little angled brush and try to blend that you can see that this is because it's um thicker it's kind of you know wrinkling up a little bit in my creases okay so for the my eyes look like crazy right now um they're like so for the inner part i'm going to actually you know what i'm going to take that black all the way in all over my car so i'm focusing on my water line lash line and then i'm going to go back in with that blending brush i'm keeping it kind of tight to the lash line s
