Let’s See How These Do On My Dark Circles
oh yeah that's oh that's coverage that is coverage girl that's comfort welcome back that was so Mrs Doubtfire uh welcome back we're doing concealer today listen there are very few Beauty YouTubers out there who actually have dark circles I happen to be one of them uh and I haven't done a concealer comparison video in a very long time so that's what we're gonna do which finger should the spring go on whatever so a few of you asked for a where did it go oh it's a hair uh so a few of you asked for me to test out the Natasha denona concealer uh this is the what's it called what's it called what's it called high Glam concealer so I picked up two shades I got Y2 and y1 because I just like wasn't entirely sure I typically like to use two shades anyway you know for concealing and then like maybe a little bit of highlighting so this one I'm really excited about I also picked up the Huda Beauty concealer this one is in the shade so I only get one I think I only got one and it might be too light but it's hard to tell in the tube faux filter concealer in royal icing 1.1 neutral uh luminous matte I don't know I also picked up the color corrector I got a peach which I thought would be good but I tried it the other end it's kind of dark but I'm going to show it to you uh I also have this one from make Beauty which I haven't tried yet what is this called Skin mimic wait memetic concealer and it's in Fair uh one Fair neutral where's the actual there we go right there uh oh the Smashbox Halo healthy glow four in one perfecting pen so it's very similar to YSL to chicola I believe it's like a pen or whatever I think I used it in a video I can't remember was it the makeup someone's calling me can you stop I don't know who you are uh I think I used it in my crying my crying tutorial I can't remember anyway let's get into it let's let's uh let's deep Zoom let's go let's go in Alex remember to do little side by sides so that you can line them all up at the end so that people can compare after each concealer I'm talking to you so to prep my skin I'm just wearing moisturizer I use the summer Fridays what is this Cloud do oil-free gel cream this has been my kind of like daily moisturizer recently so let's start off with Natasha let's just get right into it let's start off with Natasha denona I'm going to start off with Y2 because it's pretty close to my skin tone I think I think it's going to be the best shade I used anything from Natasha denona for a long time so it's got one of these doe foots try to apply the same amount of product to fairly compare so I'm just going to put a tiny bit right there and for the for this little experiment I'm going to take it all the way up to my lash line which I don't typically do and I'm also going to blend using my finger very yellowy wait was it supposed to be neutral no Y2 okay I usually go for yellow toned concealer because you guys know me I'm pretty Olive with a yellow overtone my foundations end up most of the time looking like kind of neutral so yellowy concealer kind of helps to balance neutral tones in my foundations not too bad uh it might be for like a conceit um for like full Glam this shade might be a little bit because like I typically like to do a little bit of brightening this shade might be a little dark to be honest uh it Blends out beautifully it's definitely not a highlighting shade it fits my my uh skin tone pretty well are you focusing on my nose can you not do that can you forgot my eyes and the golden if you have my skin tone then the golden tone in this concealer kind of helps to eliminate the darkness of my like the actual darkness of my dark circles so it's uh it's a shade that I could use on a more natural day when I don't feel like using a color corrector I just want to see if I can build how well I can build this up just a little bit more is very very yellow which I'm not mad at because my dark circles are kind of like a purpley red color as a very lightweight formula also kind of liquidy okay so another pass of that uh definitely looks like it built up a cut built built up a coverage built up coverage a bit which is nice um but it still feels pretty lightweight on my skin not particularly heavy or thick in any way it is pretty liquidy though like very very hydrating for sure which is nice I am already getting settling in my like these lines which like I I do with every concealer essentially uh not usually like this quick it doesn't usually like settle this fast into those lines I have a feeling it's because it's a liquidy so when I went in and blended it further it definitely like removed a little bit of coverage but overall I mean if we compare to the other side it does a really nice job concealing while looking like my skin which I enjoy for sure and this color is really nice for my skin tone I'm actually kind of like excited to use this in different areas of my face but yeah it's definitely settling in these lines because it is quite thin it's a thin formula it's very like very liquidy very thin pretty hydrating uh I have a feeling if you have very oily skin you might not like it it might slide around a little too much on you but if you have drier skin or more mature skin then it might be a good choice for you uh since I just Blended a little bit out I'm just going to go in with um y1 and I want to see how this kind of like if I want to do like a little you know highlighting or brightening or whatever this color works it's nice so here's the thing there are some concealers that like only look incredible or like work really well once you've set them there are others that like you don't want to set them tjust kind of like sit on their own I have a feeling that for me personally this concealer is going to be one that I won't really understand its full potential until I've done full Glam and I've said it and kind of waited to see like how it wears but I am very intrigued because I think the formula is very skin friendly and it layers over itself really nicely which especially as someone who has a bunch of lines I appreciate uh you know me I like thin layers so I don't know we'll have to see the only thing that I'm like a little bit nervous about is how much it settles in these lines I don't typically take my concealer up that high anyway because of that problem uh and to be honest I haven't done it in a very long time so as we go through these other concealers we'll be able to compare I don't know like is it just my crepey under eyes because it totally could be or is it the concealer okay let's switch gears to make Beauty very similar doe foot might actually be exactly the same there aren't a whole lot of components out there you know what I mean so this one what is this in the shade zero one Fair neutral I think I'm applying the same amount each time oh okay nice color a little bit lighter than that first Natasha denona concealer definitely a fan of that color for sure uh feels pretty hydrating again actually you know
