So I Don’t Like Ariana Grande’s New Makeup Brand…

okay ladies nothing's happening you have to push so hard basically it looks good but it was a disaster like i don't even know how we got here hi uh trying rem beauty ariana grande's brand uh because you guys wanted to see it so that's what we're gonna do so i took a poll on instagram and asked what makeup look of hers you'd want me to recreate and the one that you guys all voted for was this one look how dirty my phone is oh my god this one um so truthfully given the products that i bought from rem beauty it's not going to be the easiest but we can do it i think i i can create a look inspired basically by this um with her products so this is like a tutorial slash first impression slash recreation slash review um so i have the rest of my face on because obviously we're like you know just trying like the products that ariana has i bought a bunch of stuff um i'm gonna start off with the eyes uh all right so i already have my eye base on as usual nars so i'm actually going to start off with one of her eyeliners to kind of like sketch out the shape actually you know what i'm going to do to start off is just like i just want to see how these blend so i got the uh like the liquid eye eyeshadows this one is um bro with my contacts like there's no way what i don't know the name is oh it's just a heart the doe foot's kind of stiff just saying so i'm gonna draw a little v here i'm gonna immediately start blending because you just never know if it's gonna set really fast using a morphe m433 brush it's definitely more pigmented than i was expecting oh but it's pretty creamy that actually blends kind of nicely oh i can feel it setting huh all right not bad this is just to like add a little definition in my crease because it's just something i can't like start without you know and then i'm going to take a little bit of that on my lower lash line because i don't know if she has anything but i just always have to like push this area back in space even if i end up lightening it later on i just feel like i need a little something but tblend nicely i do like that the doe foot is pretty stiff but my assumption would be that that's because twant to give you the option to be able to like draw nice straight lines if you feel the need but you don't necessarily need them to be like hard for that so i i don't know i actually like that product i feel like it's good for like a quick quick eyeshadow look um all right so now i'm going to go in with her eyeliner because she's got this thing going on you know and i only i didn't get the black was there a black one i'm assuming there is i only got the brown one because for whatever reason i wasn't expecting to do this you know um but i'm gonna use this to kind of sketch out the shape it is a twist up by the way you twist it at the bottom and it has a little sharpener which is kind of nice so i'm going to sketch out a wing a winged liner oh this i'm worried about because i'm already i can feel it pulling kind of waxy you know anyway let's sketch out a wing yeah i guess i was expecting it to be more creamy do you see what i mean by like waxy like it's pulling my skin when that happens i'm just always skeptical that i'll be able to blend it i'm going to bring that back and just like draw in a straight up wing i'm just going to leave it as an outline for now because i'm gonna be going in with um more cream shadows but now i'm going to kind of trace the end of the wing how far in does it come kind of like [ __ ] i already [ __ ] it up it kind of swoops and then follows her eye socket to the center and since that does not feel like it's going to blend well um i'm going to try to blend it immediately i'm using this melt cosmetics brush and i'm just going to go in and buff [ __ ] yeah these aren't meant for this kind of thing looks a little jacked up like a lot easier to use when you just kind of like dot it but then i have to like blend aggressively to get it to actually like blend you know what i mean okay that's really not working the way i wanted it to [ __ ] all right i'm gonna bring that into my waterline see if like it's because like it's is it waterproof is that it or something long-lasting waterproof whatever because that would make sense it doesn't say um i'm gonna try to put this on my waterline it's like it's hardly going it's hardly going down do you see do you see okay maybe i need to like rough it up a little bit just rubbing it on a paper towel i feel like that helped a little bit okay roughing it up helped just like rubbing it against a um paper towel really helped okay i'm going in with that same melt brush and i'm gonna try i'm gonna try really hard just to kind of like diffuse that a little okay i don't like that eyeliner plain and simple i just don't like it it's not like the it's just you can't blend it like you just can't do any blending you know what i mean it's very waxy potentially it'll just like stay in my waterline and it'll be amazing for that but it was kind of hard to like get it into my waterline like you had to really like you know what i mean back and forth so we'll see with that one i kind of gotta uh wing it now so i have this uh liquid eye shadow in hot lava which i was considering using like on the outer part um and then i also have comet which i thought would go on the inner part because her look seems to be very like light but since that eyeliner just like really isn't doing it i just feel like i need let me just swatch the white one because i got the white one it feels a little better but very very like um also very waxy are tsupposed to be waterproof i don't know i for some reason i expected these to be so creamy i don't know um anyway so i also i also got the uh eyeshadow palette but i'm just like i don't know kind of bored by these colors you know maybe i'll just go in with um nah dude [ __ ] a plan would have been cool so i'm gonna go in with uh the liquid eyeshadow in hot lava on the outer part of the wing so i'm gonna i guess i'm just gonna like follow this i'm gonna leave the wing open though this guy i mean then i'm using another melt brush and i'm just going to like blend a little you know what i'm just going to use the pointy edge of this to just create like a a like a sharp wing rather than blending it it looks all jacked up and [ __ ] i'm gonna go in with the um light one dude this is a [ __ ] i might not even upload this [ __ ] i'm gonna go with the light one which is um comet okay blending between those shades with that melt brush i have like high expectations for these too just because like i'm so obsessed with halsey's right now or like fractal eye paints or whatever flak fractal glitter eye paints i don't know you guys let me know that looks a little bit better but i don't know it does look a little crusty to me [ __ ] man i gotta say i'm not loving this right now i do think you need to work really quickly with these this finish is definitely very different like i um tfe
