Dude Bronzer Changes Your Face Too Don’t Get It Twisted
I mean I guess we'll just make it a series Dungey bronzer you know what I mean I'm gonna be showing you how bronzer changes your face let me know if you guys want to make this a series it's all fine by me if you have specifics let me know in the comments down below anyway bronzer so I'm gonna show you differences on either side of my face like we did with the blush video all right we're gonna use the Fenty Beauty cheeks out cream bronzer in the shade but a biscuit this is number two but I will say just quickly I was just doing some swatches this is the k'kaw Beauty medium contour stick and in my opinion this is the most flattering bronzer for light fair all of skin alright so quick bronzer versus contour if you want to see a video on that specifically let me know and I can do like bronzer and then contour and talk about the differences between them this is going to be basically just like where we're placing our bronzer it's a bronzer video alright let's just do it Jesus so the brush I'm going to use is from BH Cosmetics it is similar actually to my blush brush but it's the number for any angled brush it's gonna do totally fine elf has one that's really really great so typically where we place bronzer is going to be where the Sun naturally like warms up the face if that makes sense but you can kind of obviously you'd like to take liberties sometimes I place my bronzer in you know my cheekbone sometimes I use it as a contour instead of actually using a contour or as a contour color is typically more cool toned for example the Fenty amber contour which is like in my opinion way too gran way too cool toned but you can see the difference what's important to keep in mind when it comes to bronzer is it is dark it is meant to be darker than your actual skin tone because it's like essentially supposed to be like a tan you know we're using it to sort of create more warmth a little bit more of a 3d look to the face because it is darker than your actual skin tone it is going to manipulate the shape of your face similar to contour [ __ ] I feel like I should just put that in like one video because no so we're gonna focus on one of the things that I like to do with my bronzer is use it to add warmth but also to kind of shape in my face a little bit sort of in place of contour so what I liked I guess I'm going to show you on this side what I like to do and then on this side we'll try things differently so what I like to do because I have a fairly large forehead I like to kind of like bronze this whole area to bring that in just like a little bit but typically like where the Sun would hit me obviously I do have a big forehead so he was always really tan because it would be exposed to the Sun a lot but like this kind of area slicked over the temples so I'm just going to tap into this and then so I kind of I guess I kind of like to focus it in this area first bring it up into my hairline I have to be careful cuz I'm platinum and then like up on my forehead basically so kind of creating just like a halo in this area I do like to define a little bit around the temples so that's kind of like that's how I like to do my bronzer so I'm sort of like I don't know cutting that off a little bit and then just creating a little bit more of a glow up here so something that I do see people do occasionally is rather than like putting any bronzer up here I see them just kind of like dusting it right there right on the temples so I put it like in this little section right here and then kind of like blended it up and out like a round sort of like hugging my forehead so I'm going to do is just place it right above my eyebrow and that's it I'm not gonna take it up literally just like blending in this spot right here now for me by shading this whole area it kind of helps to like round out my forehead a little bit and bring a little bit more of the focus to this spot right here because I do have I have a large forehead so when I do this this might be like oh just like a little bit of bronze like this is where I have a little bit of a tan but it's not really doing anything to like cut off my jag anti forehead so now in this area for my cheekbones I like to kind of use it as like an almost contour so I'll place it like in my cheek bone and push it up a little so I've actually been using bronzer in place of contour recently because I haven't really wanted to have like such an intense line there so what we're doing is kind of like using this to carve out that cheekbone and just like define it a little bit so you can see like obviously placing a darker shade in this area is going to push it back in space but because it is a bronzer and it is meant to create warmth I'm not just gonna keep it in this area I'm gonna kind of like blend it up slowly bring it onto my cheek so that I'm sort of like diffusing that warmth now another thing that I see people doing is because it is a bronzer and it's meant to be like used to warm up your cheeks is putting it kind of like almost where you would highlight so like dusting it on the cheekbones rather than using it to carve the actual cheekbone so kind of like if we're focusing we're like staying true to like what bronzer is and placing it just on the areas where the Sun would hit so this is us kind of like focusing it on the high points of the face I wouldn't necessarily go in with more at this point like myself but I just want to make sure that it's actually the difference is showing up so on this side we kind of used it to carve out the cheekbone and then blend up a little bit and on this side we didn't carve out the cheekbone at all we just put it like right on the top where you know the Sun would naturally hit so there's a little bit of warmth there but you can see on this side we're actually like adding a little bit more structure to the face I kind of already did this actually with contour because I typically don't do this with bronzer because I think it's a little bit too warm but another thing that I see people doing is using their bronzer as sort of a contour on like their lower jaw line chin kind of thing so once again because it is a darker color it's going to kind of help to push certain areas back so I don't do this with bronzer but this is the area that I would push back right here cuz I like to make my jawline look a little bit more cut so if you want to kind of like bring that color in throughout the face I would just like kind of lightly well I guess like just push this area back in space and then I would probably take it down my neck if I did that just so that like there's cohesive color but something that I see people doing when tdo this kind of thing is placing it like on the tip of the chin which again would probably be where the Sun would hit it most and then I kind of want to show you it like on the nose because I see some people doing that as well but it's hard to do one like half your nose this is actually a sort of a become a little bit m
