I Am Launching My Own Brand – Nimya By !

guys it's me nikki i can finally share that i have my very own brand nem and in this video right here i am going to tell you everything how we started this journey how the journey is going and when you can actually join the journey all right let's go okay where to even start uh before we get this video started of course if any time was the right time to give this video a big thumbs up now is the time for over three years ago now wes my manager and myself who is now my manager and business partner for the longest time in my career people were like girl when are you coming out with your own product so i was like you know what no i am not ready for that the world is scary and the cosmetics world is even scarier and throughout the years so many brands and investors came up to us and were like well do you want to build a brand or no every single time it didn't feel like the right time um of course you know things happened in the past where my trust was broken so i was like i don't want anyone to get involved when it comes to my brand but then a couple of years ago over three years ago now wesson myself sat down and we were talking about goals of the future and he was like why don't we do it and i said you are crazy you're fired but over three years ago i thought why not you know why not take a chance why not see what i can offer to this community because i've been in this community for over 14 years 14 years this girl's getting old and for over 14 years i have played with literally pretty much every single product in the market i know what i like and i especially know what i don't like and now i hear you thinking but girl literally every other week there's a new brand and i know we don't need another brand in the words of miss gaga herself we don't need another beauty brand but here we are but it didn't necessarily start off as that three years ago we were like okay what products are you missing out on in your routine and to my surprise i had a couple of products that i could name and we were like let's just let's see if we can make the products that you're missing out on in your routine let's see if we can make them even better and then let's go from there we didn't even start off as like oh my god we're building a nikkietutorials brand no it started off as what am i missing what can i improve that's already existing and then make it better and from that more products came out and more products started developing and now i feel like i'm in a candy land and i want to try it all so i hear you thinking girl what are these products you've been working on for three years well let me tell you instead of coming out with like an entire collection an entire line we really took our own pace and looked at products that we wanted to perfect for as long as tneed at the time to be perfected i'm going to tell you about the products in a little bit but i've been working on this sort of like moisturizer primer hybrid that we've been working on it for three years and every time i was like well can we change this so it does that and then it went back to the lab and twere like no we can't do and then i was like well try again and then we're like no we can't do it i was like try again and then ttried instead of like dividing the focus over too many products at once these four products five products um have our full love it's like four little love babies and you guys real honesty all the years people like big investors wanted to invest in me have a cut in this brand and it never felt right not because i necessarily want all the money myself but i don't trust people i don't trust people so i want you to know that i'm putting my own money on the line here no huge investors no big companies behind us that are pushing us or making us you know come up with a product every two to three months this is my money i am putting myself up for a lot here and that's maybe another reason why it took so long because i never wanted to get you know involved with investors i wanted to do it on my own but to do it on your own you need a lot of money and when your girl's been saving up for a lot of money she got robbed at gunpoint and that's when money flies out of the window literally so maybe we could have launched sooner but some other people had all their plans for me we're laughing at trauma it's the only way to grow if this goes horribly wrong i have a problem i do need to thank a couple of people in particular before we get started with all the fun celeste originals denise rossen lika thank you so much for all your incredible hard work you were the hookup you got us connected to the labs you got us the great labs that could make these incredible insane formulas that you're gonna fall in love with but twere truly are our guide in very dark and confused days we didn't know where to start and thelped us out tremendously without them i don't think we will be here so thank you so much to all of you a special shout out to studio bang bang these guys just know how to make a concept come to life thelped us with the packaging and oh just wait hold on just showing you this you do not want to know i had these products on my on my vanity for like weeks every time i took like a an instagram stories or whatever i was like gotta move this out of the way before it leaks so here we are the moment you've all been waiting for it is time to dive into these iconic i call that mechanic already but i'll let you be the judge these iconic products already that have been years worth of testing and it all has led to this are you ready i don't think i'm ready but i'm ready let's do it just like me you get to write your own story i mean you've been there with me when i wrote my story and i got to portray myself to the world the way i always wanted to you can do that too but most importantly express identify act as your true self we live in a world full of labels i've talked about this but with nimya you get to
